The original tune of this song was more in "Kirtan" style and the present rendition of the song is perfect though not like the original, I guess this is the way the song was meant to be sung. For those who does not know Bengali... translation of first few lines ... "Why the cloud spreads into my heart/ which forbid me to see you/ I can only see you intermittently/ why can't I see you always?"... take the meaning spiritually.

Hi Sonia, you can hear out Sahana's renditions in youtube which are original with distortion of the tune and the style usually practiced for any Tagore songs. The music is experimental though. But you have to understand and take the words in, to cry more.

@SoniaZaghetto , Original Form is quite difficult, I think Pankaj Mollik, Devabrata Biswas is ok. But you may listen , Hemanta, Suchitra Mitra, Konika Banarjee, Sagore sen, Chinmoy Chatterjee, Aurgho sen, Aubhirup, Indrani Sen .... they are also best traditional Tagore song Singer in India.
