This is not a video of Charla Nash. The person shown in the video is Connie Culp.  Ms. Culp was shot in the face by her husband on September 21, 2004. She endured ~30 reconstructive surgeries until December 10, 2008 when she underwent face transplant surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. The surgery took 22 hours. She has since appeared on Oprah. The first face transplant surgery in history was performed on Isabelle Dinoire, who had been badly mauled by her dog, in France on November 27, 2005

As for Charla Nash, to the best of my knowledge she has not undergone face transplant surgery as yet but did go to the Cleveland Clinic. She, like Connie Culp, has appeared on Oprah. I will be seeing Dr. Francis Papay, one of the Cleveland Clinics face transplant team, next week and will ask him about the status of Charla Nash. Patient confidentiality may prevent him from talking about Charla however.

@sneakyguy99 CLEVELAND clinic denied Charla Nash for surgery. Last info I could find on her. They have to do a hand and face transplant & it has to be done from the same donor and at the same time & the hospital never did a hand transplant surgery & didn't want to. You can look over to the right under suggestions and see CHARLA's injured face, the REAL one, it's actually worse than the lady on this video.
