You have not indicated any charges that were alleged against you, or what you were arrested for.! Tell us that and no one can assume you are another Charlie Vietch.!
What ever The alleged offence, (unless its a terrorist offence) they can not hold you incommunicado (you have a right to a phone call) and they can not submit you for psychiatric assessment unless you agree. As soon as you do, you have given them "Authority" over you by saying "yes" or "OK" to anything they are asking you to do..:)
