@VioletRaynne Where do you live? If you're anywhere near the country, chances are someone has a tree they just cut down. If you ask, there's a chance they'll give you a piece. Worst they could say is no, right? If you live in the city... check home depot or lowes or what ever you have. they might have suitable blocks of wood to carve at least a small bowl.
@starvingtech Unfortunately the wood was rotten, so when I went to finish it, it fell apart. I'll try to find a more suitable bit of wood to do this with soon.
I can't even find a giant chunk anywhere :(

I've been wanting to try this for a while now. I've done a clay bowl that won't hold water.
Do one on the finished product.
