@flyinggriffins4 I don't hear the notes you are talking about, in the electric version anyway. The acoustic version has more notes. I just checked a couple other vids of the original song like the one from GetThemLyrics and don't hear any extra notes.
@jtodd900 i have the tab book as well and its in there and it is kind of hard to hear it on the recording. on the acoustic version they add notes to the end of the riff but thats not what i was talking about. If you look in the book the first two notes of the first and second bar of the third measure(when the second guitar comes in) you didnt play those notes.
Is there a way that we can see the whole neck of the guitar, and not really the picking hand? It's pretty simple to figure out the picking... Or maybe show a cutaway of the picking hand? I would much rather see exactly what youre doing on the fret board. :)
Thank you so much for all of your awesome posts! I write most all originals, however, I"m putting together a Seether cover band, and you have been a GREAT help! If you are interested in taking donations, I would donate to the cause brother!
I am so glad that I dropped by and listened to this melodious beauty. The sustain at the end added those chills and thrills in my whole body. Thanks for sharing your skill and mastery. Very delightful, needed an uplift in spirit, and I got it, right here. : -))) Thank!!! Nancy
Yeah, I wrote that in the description. They play it 1/2 step down from standard but there a couple bar chords which I struggle with and it didn't sound that great when I tried to cheat the bar chord by not playing the middle finger note. For some reason though it sounded really good in drop D.?.?. Thanks for the comment.
Hey i was gonna learn this song but how do i tune it 1/2 a step down? i got drop D tuning down. just don't know how to tune it 1/2 a step down can you help ?
Do you have a chromatic tuner, easiest way. - Db Ab Db Gb Bb eb - I don't know how to by ear. If you have a capo you can put it on the first fret of standard tuning and then you would have 1/2 step down and can play one fret up for everything.
You can play it in Drop D and get away with it, BUT if you want to play along with the original song and have the sound match exactly then you want to do 1/2 step down.
Yeah, guess I am just not a Les Paul person. Sold it, I will probably get a Schecter (or 2) soon. I just couldn't get used to the short neck and mostly the bridge position as compared to the Fender which is all I played for over 2 years. Had a hard time palm muting with it and it pissed me off! LOL The schecters as set up more like a Fender.....
:D thanx again as the matter of fact I've got it learned already.....your some teacher arite:)
hey can u also put up some three days grace numbers like 'riot' and 'take me under'---there arent any good tutorials for those 2 around here...rock on!

@flyinggriffins4 The Seether tab book doesn't show them either. These tabs are straight from their book.
