Mr. Neuman must be an extremely intelligent man to have gotten into college which usually requires much more than basic 3R skills. So intelligent in fact that one would wonder why he put with so much for so long? Add to the facts that most children exposed to such extreme malnourishment can hardly develop muscle mass let alone brain tissue, and one wonders if he isn't in fact some kind of superhuman. But he's a chaplain, so we all know this is the God's honest truth.

I am not extremely intelligent and even flunked out of school during my fifth grade; but years of early-life traumas seem to have given my a high intuition and unusual wisdom.
