Nonsense. Seamus opposed Soviet totalitarianism and all forms of militarism. It's the United States who warred against Afghanistan's only progressive government that gave Afghan women the vote by arming and training the fanatical Muslim zealots of the Mujahideen in the '80s who morphed into the Taliban and turned the human rights clock back for a century. Quit reading the Daily Mail and crack a history book on the Middle East.
