Fargo is great! The snow does suck, but honestly anywhere north of the mason-dixon line gets tons of snow and cold these days.

Hi! I seen your video and wondering on moving to north dakota for a job. I don't hear alot of good about the country and I was wondering how much do you like and how often do it rain and do you work during the cold winter months and how often do it get to below -0 weather? I have so many questions. I will truly like if you could answer some of my questions.....Thank you.

@touchbythesun: Hello to you, and thanks for the message! These videos were taken during extreme weather, and should not be considered the type of weather we receive year-round. Yes, the winters are very cold, often with temperatures below zero,and sometimes well below zero, and there are a few serious blizzards during the winter. To answer your question, everybody who has a job (and fortunately, most of us do!) goes to work during the winter months...

@touchbythesun: continued.....It is only when the weather is very severe with blizzards and wind that it is advised we remain at home. The rest of the year is decent, and the summers can be very hot! The people here are wonderful, and I have made many very great friends since moving here 8 years ago! We are very happy here....Fargo is a GREAT city!!!

some would call me crazy for saying this, but I live in Myrtle Beach Sc. and I would trade the beaches and ocean for the cold mountains any day. The tourists here are rude ashell, they come here and destroy our beaches and show no respect to our community, they act like this is vegas. give me the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter....I miss my truck driving days

This fairly tame look at North Dakota winters reminds me greatly of why I live in Arizona now. 33 years was enough.  Love the summers there but I loathe snow now. I've never had to scrape heat off of my windshield down here.

I was born and raised in Fargo. Left there years ago. I now live in New Mexico. But I do miss Fargo sometimes. I always liked Island Park....the river run...and fishing in Minnesota. Well....a few old flames too. I miss a good blizzard too. You know...the kind where the temperature is 30 below and the wind is blowing so hard it sucks the air out of your lungs. :-) I would like to see that again. Use to go jogging down ninth street south with a ski mask on. With icicles hanging on your face.

Hi there! We had exactly that kind of blizzard for two days....December 30th and 31st! It also sucked the life out of new year's eve, since everyone had to stay home!! So, we just celebrated on January 1st! Now they're calling on volunteers to fill sandbags for another impending flood.....
