These guys are fucking tin eared sloppy backyard boys. There success astounds me. Check out that 'Some Kind of Monster' DVD (steal it, don't buy it). They're playing some of the most dumbarse generic riffs EVER. And they're SLOPPY. It can't be denied. Even sloppy old tin eared Ulrich thought the riffs were, in his words, 'stock'.
