i like that a lot of people complain about this cd not really being power metal but at the same time much of it is heavier than anything they did on salvation/VGO(when many of their fans think of them at the height of power metal, along with mandrake)

those two cds are hardly metal in my opinion, at times but only in glimpses. The Kingdom is awsome though

lol. It has a very much power metal feel. Not sure what you r saying. The pre-chorus is about the only hard rock vibe it has. Of course it is not power metal in the Vain Glory or Theater of salvation sense, but this is a power metal song still, at least in the Traditional Euro sense, unless you prefer the jag panzer American-power sense, or are one of those that think "pantera" is power metal maybe. This album contains more Hard rock moments, but this is not one of them. Epic, catchy Euro power

This song does remind me of Iron Maiden but doesn't sound like them. The general feel of this song is similar to Iron Maiden. The vocals are more raw and lower and the instrumentals are more of this era. Iron Maiden uses older sounding guitars(which sound great too) and lighter drums. Not to mention there's 2 guitarists(they had 3 once) in Iron Maiden.
