@audibgcom Hi, thanks :-). Mods at the time of video was Lexmaul 4 branch manifold, de-cat, custom exhaust and induction kit, short shifter, superchipped ecu, de-restricted air flow meter, polished and ported throttle body.
After video i fitted Dbilas Sportcams, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, removed induction kit, fitted de-restricted airbox, removed superchipped ecu, fitted standard ecu, and after doing all of this it was much better. Then someone wrote it off :-(
@savagev8 how many cost the cams and what are they,becaus is very hardly to find sport cams for c18xe :)? :)i have c18xe astra look it if you want in my profile :) My have only fuel pressure regulator with injectors from c20xe m2.8 244c3 on 3bar. and no middle mufler..
@kerensasdad Thanks very much, it got wrote off on new years day :-( someone ran into the back of it, i had done quite abit more to it to before it got wrote off. Got another one now which i have done quite alot to. Will be fitting a C20LET next year and posting videos :-)
@rob961988 the 1.8 Sport is the C18XEL with 115bhp. The 1.8 'Ecotec'.
The GSi 1.8 used the C18XE with 125bhp (although everyone i have seen has made between 135bhp-145bhp on a dyno) and is a 'Non Ecotec' as such. Nicknamed the 'Baby Redtop' as it had a Red spark plug cover like the 2.0 GSi C20XE 'Redtop'.

Unfortunately someone went into the back of it at 50mph on new years day! I now have another MK3 which im swapping all the bits onto, and with some other tuning works im hoping for 170bhp minimum from the C18XE :-)
Ahh very nice! I know GSI on paper is 0.1 sec slower than mine to 60 :P so very similar performance. Although with yur mods it will defo be quicker now. I'd love to give you a race
Thanks. Mine has the 1.8 GSi engine mate, which on paper is 8.5 seconds to 60mph. So quite abit slower as standard. But with the mods, im down to very high 6 second / very low 7 second 0-60's. When i get my gas flowed top end and cams fitted, should be abit quicker :-)
