@havocation while i agree that this is viking/folk metal, the black metal influence is very obvious here. i'd even go as far as to consider this blackened viking metal. the two styles are quite closely intertwined, and viking metal is very heavily influenced by black metal, even going back to (arguably) the first viking metal album, Hammerheart by Bathory, who were themselves black metal pioneers as well.
