He's not super big, and hes not super quick. His best chance is gonna be his jump shot untill he gets bigger and quicker. I dont anticipate anything great for a few years from this kid. Not dissing him, just he doesn't look like any kind of miracle for the knicks. I do like that they got some chemistry going with D Walsh and D'antoni.... They still need a couple franchise players, it seems like the team is made up of role players with nobody to really set the pace. My opinion.
he gud and being tha im i knick fan i hoping time will tell so0 let tha kid play and see where his game at...to0 me he got tha ginobli/t-mac in him....
This kid will thrive at the Small Forward position sooner or later. The small forward position is the easiest to score from in the NBA. HE has at the tool that most NBA players has. All it take is playing time and Teamates believing in him.
As a knick fan what can you do? Hope for the best. The kid has good footwork, but he definitely seems like a project. I think he could avg. about 8 points a game his rookie year. But what the heck are the Knicks gonna do with all those forwards? Randolph, Lee, Balkman, Jeffries, Chandler, Q-rich, Rose and now this kid? Ay-yay-yay. Pray for a miracle on 33rd street!
Just another foreign player nobody ever heard of until the Draft. Unless you actuall watched him play for the Italian League it's hard to say. Everybody looks good on a highlight tape. He does seem to skill though. But it's hard to tell if these highlights were against quality opponents. Hope he does well.
As a New Yorker, I hope this kid is good. I like the handle, the shot, and the agression, those are important at this level.Too bad he got the traditional New York welcome when the GM doesn't pick the most popular player, but hey we booed Lee and cheered when we got Randolph so if he produces we'll love him.
hes only in the knicks cause he sucked up to daddy to convince d'antoni no fucking way he would go to the knicks if he wasnt hooked up do you really think hes good enough to ACTUALLY BEAT BROOK LOPEZ do you really think hes good enough to play for a NY team.this means he has to improve and develop.this means the fan wont wont for that time.that equals time.and thats what NY fans wont give him he MIGHT get in the good gracious of the fans if he. HES GONNA CHOKE!!!
thats his highlight tape....? are u serious? nothing he did even remotely impressed me.. first off hes not even playing against NBA caliber players....and to make it worse it looks like none of these guys are playing defense and everytime he scores it looks like the ball MIGHT go in hes throwing up all these wild lay ups that go in by luck
HELL YESS but you gotta admit- marco belinelli is better than this kid i mean HES AN UNBELIEVABLE SHARPSHOOTER! Nets should try to trade for him- IMAGINE THAT!!
he shoots 40% for 3...but trust me, he'll adapt to nba defense and will be able to take layups (more than dunks). plus he's got a great ability of drawing fouls (85% ft), even if he seems slow (he's not, he's probably not very explosive). definitely a better player than bargnani (it's not hard, I know, but still...)

Aye, but bird was bird, he had super anticipating view, he could foresee what would happen later off a bounce or whatever else, and i don't think gallinari has that kind of thing...he still is a good player, that's for sure
I think he will be a right handed Kukoc, but more of a scorer and less of a playmaker. Might take him a couple of years b/c hes young, and looks skinny. Top 10 pick for sure. Could see him in Milwaukee or maybe the Clips if they lose Maggette.

All the Knicks need to do is get Marbury, Randolph, and Crawford to pass him the ball.
Better hope that Darko/Marko for Randolph trade goes through.

True indeed but his footwook look better better than whats the analyst say.
@4:37 the In and out move he puts on a defender at three point line mean that his footworks is good period.

they bood lee and balkman, now there fan favorites!

The move at 2:40, come on there was NO defense present, or what clyde would say "swiss cheese D"

looks a little slow but the herky jerky moves should work well for him in the N.B.A. and he can shoot.

TitansChamps2008 3 years ago
i think you ppl are giving him WAY TOO MUCH attention
your saying all these great thing but he hasnt played in the NBA not even the summer league
you ppl make it sound like europe is like NBA
just wait and see
so no more
"GALLIRANI IS THE NEW FACE OF THE KNICKS" cause thats not even close to true yet
because hes not a nowitzki yet for all we know he may be a bargiani

he cant compete with US breed players
ppl say hes going to the KNICKS but its not gonna happen. sometimes its cause he MIGHT BE the best available player *NOT!!!!!!*
the best fit would be a 2-guard
expect the knicks to choose westbrook over this over-rated player
