What temperature do you have the water, I always wondered when my bengal needed washing after getting in some trouble or other... usually I have it just barely luke warm and he doesn't complain, but it's hard to know what's "right".

your cat is awesome! If my (9 years old) domestic cat liked water I would avoid many scars and blood on my hands, neck and face:( It's not easy to handle him enough strong:( Bengals are adorable and unique:)

I also have a cat called Merlyn, I used a Y at the end because everyone uses an i. I also call my cat Merl and he drinks out of the tap.

My cat's a Siberian, and they're supposed to love water. Sasha won't stay in the tub if there's water running, but she waits on the vanity while *I'm* showering, and the minute I'm out, she jumps in to plant her but on the warm and wet porcelain.

What a great cat! My boy cat, Jellie, used to sit on the side of the bath and pat the surface of the water, until one fateful day when he slipped and fell in. He stays well clear of the bath now.
