Their used in iraq and afghanistan because they have a lower heat signature than a CH-53E which i work on and you cannot exit a blackhawk through the rear of the aircraft, just aft of the main rotor head it drops off sharply to give it a hump back appearance, and the straight tail staibilizer are dead give aways.
