Nice review you`ve got everything spot on with the radio

they do work exactly as you described,

i still have my 5 band black fronted jackson,

the badge on the rear says "made in the phillipines" on mine.

Although its been in its original black n white box for a few years now.

The later 6 band versions (auto squelch ect) where not as good.

they are nice radios but i would never pay that kinda price for an older radio.

i had a similar radio with a very very rare extra channels modification and frequency counter. look through my videos for the president vid.

Just like my Jackson,very good radio. The silver 5 banded radios are hard to come by and one in good condition like yours are very rare. Mine is in excellent condition, check out my videos.
