I usually can't stand fanvids, cos (1) the music choices end up grating if your taste doesn't coincide with that of the vidder, (2) they get overly sentimental and shippy, watering down the true nature of characters' relationships.
This breaks both of those stereotypes. The song works BRILLIANTLY (first time I have heard it - must dl!) and the clip choices beautifully sum up Mulder and Scully's very complex relationship - and what has brought them to where they are.
Such a novel approach - this was really beautiful 5* rating! I'm very moved by how you managed to show the depth of love that is between M & S as they triumped over death so many times saving each other. Can't wait to watch it again after posting this.
