The Tattoo is held in EDINBURGH, which happens to be in SCOTLAND, not that country south of Scotland. Royal just happens to have been added last year. It is still a SCOTTISH venue and shall be for all time!!!
@richardbeckuk1 You appear to have renamed the event by replacing the word Edinburgh with the word Royal. The word royal has never been part of the Tattoo. And it is not "just held in Edinburgh" it IS the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. I totally agree with the rest of your comment though.
