Yeah, it's a good idea, but you tend to over explain it. I think we can figure out where to find some dice, and that we can use any number of things for a counter.

Great idea! You could even draw the line on a whiteboard/erasable fridge door, and move a magnetic shape alongside... Or draw several lines on a big whiteboard and have several kids compete their little magnetic shape/animals...
