does anyone know the exact day this will be going on sale? im gonna buy a mustang soon and i need to get it before april 1st. i know it comes out in spring and thats next month but is it early spring it comes out or should i just settle for the 2012 model
@mustang8258, From what I hear, a lot of people prefer the 11 and 12 GT front and the 13 rear. I have a 12 Lava GT. I put the GT/CS front facia on, and it looks gr8. I now have two sets of fogs that I use for different purposes. The 12 GT front with the CT/CS facia is very hard to beat. My point is that there is so much flexibility and great options for the 11s and 12s in the front that I just do not think they should have changed it. The 13 is nice, but I do like my 12 better.
one thing I don't like is the fact that the head lights stop way to short of the grill! pretty much like a copy of the front of the new dodge charger.
Even the v6 mustangs look beautiful now on this days lol I'm loving the fact that they're putting those taillights on every mustang now!!!! Loooks sexy
The front of the 12 is better. The back is nice, but I would black out the center of the turn signals, because when lit up, it looks like a Christmas tree. Other than that, it is nice.

@TheAustinFleming in my magazines and on the internet sites ford will develop a new irs and the car will be smaller and will go global, but ford is also saying no retro look. if the 2014 mustang will have a different rearend than 2010-2013 i might actually buy it. but in all honesty what ford really needs to do is make a 4.00" bore motor or atleast 3.900" bore than the ford ohc engine will be worth something for alot of guys like me. the 6.2 is just too big to be in a mustang

@8xxABHIxx8 my wife has a 2011 5.0 its alright. and yes when it comes to engines i know what im talking about. the ford ohc 4v heads can only flow so much air that inturn is left up to the bore of any motor. you can only have so much stroke it cant do the work by itself, hence more bore is needed even only if it was 3.900" just like the competitions motors. the 4v head has so much potential for nice power but the tiny bores only let in so much air, therefore F/I is needed.
