@xxx4xxxxx Chris Crocker didn't make that video for attention. He's been making videos ever since he was 19 years old or so, and I've been watching since the very beginning. He's always been a HUGE Britney Spears fan. He literally has a pool filled with Britney posters, magazines, dolls, DVD's, CD's etc. When people were attacking Britney and calling her fat for her 2007 VMA's performance he really got upset and cried "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE".
So it was not for attention.

His first video got 4 million views, along with many others. It's not like he woke up one morning and said "Hum...How can I get famous today? I got it! I'll force myself to cry!". AFTER he made headlines for "Leave Britney Alone" thats when he was becoming a fame whore. He got caught up in the Hollywood scene. He said it himself.
