When the flash came on my iPod/MSNBC App it was like a punch in the stomach. I saw Davey on Broadway as the Artful Dodger..... we were both lads...... he was I now realise just 10 months older than me. So it is a double shock as I must reckon that the grim reaper is just around the corner. I fell in love with two people watching "Oliver", Davey Jones and Georgia Brown. Their speaking and singing voices enchanted me as did each their beautiful and handsome faces respectively. RIP Davey
There was such diversity in acts on the Ed Sullivan Show. The juxtaposition of jugglers, clowns, comedians, opera singers, and rock bands was surreal at times. This show seems like no exception.
R.I.P Davy Jones.
