  • I worry when I see rare warbirds doing aerobatics at low levels. Seen too many videos and heard of too many accounts of Spits, P-38s, etc., crashing doing these maneuvers.

I think high speed passes, dramatic climbs, and hard banks are sufficient.

  • Viva Mexico!!

  • Super!

  • i WANT ONE! Bad ass plane. Mine would be historically correct and include a big Swastika on the tail. Fuck being politically correct.

  • Lang lebe der Nazi Empire

  • its not a real me 109 spanish made and probely a merlin engin

  • @mrford70 the engine in this bird is a real DB605 but in erlyer times this one was a spanish buchon with a merlin in it!

  • @Scharfschutzen1 you can better ask: what crimes the russians didnt commit?

  • Great flying from the pilot there. Awesome vid.

  • einfach nur eine wunderschöne maschine

  • "oh scheisse, jetzt hab ichs verlorn..." ^^

  • a winged legend :)

    I love it!

  • ..and that's your mature comment, right? :)) Funny gay :))))))))))))))))) I'm wondering why you writting anyway? Go play with your plastik soldiers... try to assault Moskow, or something like that.. :)))) ... You can command your toys, not me.. :)) I'm in reserve since 10 years.. :)))))))) hahahaha, you made my day :) Clown militarist.. :))))))

  • The DB605 has a nice sound. Cool video !

  • echt tolles video!!! :D ...

    Naja.. gutes video!! :D

  • Walter Eichhorn,

one of the greatest German Pilots

    his callsign in EDGS "Fliegergott"

  • Show me a WWII German airforce aircraft that doesn't have a Swastika on its tail---(please post WWII archive photos) I can show many captured aircraft from military archives---from France---"they all have Swastikas on the tailplane"

  • the sawastika is illegaly in germany today ;)

  • What about JG53 during BOB? they had none

  • Yes ---a red stripe and a protest that should have had them transferred to ground pounding on the Russian front, instead of flying ! a gesture that got them sent to all the God forbidden front lines

  • wish i had a 109 so bad

  • i know, there were over 35,000 of them, the most out of any plane ever built, too bad only a hand full are left :(

  • what a fine example of this beautiful 'plane. complete with a victory roll on home ground. fantastic. does anyone have any background on this 109? like, where was it found, stored, who flew it?

  • hahahah genau!!! XD:-)

  • Why does it not have the Swastika on it? This is a beautiful plane, and saw some of the best pilots in the Luftwaffe. To remove the Swastika is basically turning your back on history. When this happens, history repeats itself.

The engine is nice too. I can only imagine what it was like when the sky was filled with hundereds of these planes.

  • i agree. Thats like taking the prancing horse off a Ferrari. The Swastika is part of German history, aswell as this beautiful aircraft. I personally think they should leave it original and kept the Swastika on it. They prolly figure it'll upset some people.

  • Of course. The German people are afraid of their past. I can understand this because of what happened (mainly the Holocaust) but to deface an aircraft that flew for the most powerful military of WW2 is just stupid/sad.

Honestly, the Germans need to man up and embrace their past, no matter how horrible it is. Although Hitler did kill 6 million Jews and start the most destructive war in Human history, Germany brought us Rocket technology, and gave birth to Tank Warfare, among other things.

  • agreed, they cant act like it didnt happen, every country has something to not be proud of .

  • The Luftwaffe didn't mark their aircraft with swastikas. The cross has been used by the German air arm since WW1 all the way to the modern day.

  • Please note that the prefix for german aircrafts until 1945 was based on the name of the factory that designed and manufactured the first versionsof the aircrafts. The German 109 and 110 where designed and produced by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke and designated Bf109 and Bf110 through the WWII. Bayerische Flugzeugwerke was renamed to Messerschmitt AG in 1938, but the prefix for the two airplanes stayed: Bf. airplane maniac

  • Well Said

  • Video asks for a vote. Don't know what for, but this video has my vote. Beautiful aircraft, wonderful engine sound, great flying. Excellent, excellent and excellent. Wish I could have a chance to fly one, what an experience.

  • that engine sound is soo beautiful

  • very stupid commend !!!

  • You do realise some Germans were openly opposed to the regime and died for their opinion?

  • Dumb Jerk! Still living in the past!

    Ignore...

  • Comment removed

  • I love the sound of that engine, makes me wish I could fly her myself.

  • @lorkomi

  • Geil geil geil

  • No wonder German flyers felt so Macho...with a machine like that It was very unfotunate that they would have to be limited by the bombers speed during the Battle of Britain you could see the difference in the Russian front and even in the Defense of the Reich when such stupid limitations were lifted To Germanys merit think that a design contemporary to t last biplanes was fighting against P51s a mid 40s design not too shabby

  • without the Swastika its not a complete ME 109

  • sorry nodarnfool I can not understand Your statement...the swastika is no technical and neccessary part to get that plane into the air...

so actually even in civil markinks a Messerschmitt stays a Messerschmitt 108 or 109...a plane is a construction a symbol mostly an expression of an ideology...in the swastika-case an insane ideology...dont see in every technical masterpiece the grazy and idiotic political system which prevailed during the time that wonderful bird was planned and build

  • Swastika is not verboten,IGNORANCE is!!! I find the Jap meatball and Ruskie hammer & sicle highly offensive.Suppress history and it's teaching is a crime in itself.German's have been brainwashed to be apologetic and un proud, disgrace done to you by the Allied conspiracy. Look what they have done to Europa since the war.Giving 1/2 the continent to the murdering Ruskie is justice?? ERWACHE !!!

Danke...

  • good comments panzertruppen1. i absolutly agree, well said and good for you.

  • You meant "murdered Russians"??? Only in Belorussia, germans burned more than 450 villages with theyr habitants... What do you expect- forgiveness??? But I 'm OK with you about the symbols... They are not bad, people often are...

  • And why did they burn, tell the whole story not part,U get no reasoning from me when it comes to the Russian, their downplayed crimes to humanity are HUGE but because they were one of the Allies it has become accepted??? hipocrites are the ugliest in form.

  • I don't know why... Because they're slavs, or comunists, or...??? What crimes against humanity did the russians? Axis and Allies, they both commited crimes, but when you atacked somebody without mercy, don't expect mercy for you... I haven't intension to comment, but your political and racist post makes me angry a bit... I just watched at this plane, in fact G-2 and G-6 was in operational service in our airforce and fight against the bombers of UK and USA, but we haven't save one of them...

  • @pistonss the russians murder millions of innocent people so dont say that the germans where the only bad guys

  • and I just watched and search for more information in comments, but yours were absolutely offensive and chauvinist...

  • gefällt mir gut das Video cooler sound

  • sounds good

  • thanks a lot for share it with me,I'm in the other side of atlantic ocean and it is impossible to go there to me...thank you and thank youtube

  • schönes gesundes, nettes Video. woll Sie dort sein. danke

  • Where is the swastika?

  • are you kidding me, no swastikas in germany they are not allowed.

  • not allowed at a political rally, or on a march I understand, but to be so insecure as to erase them from historical items like in museums and here is pretty lame if you ask me. But hey, thats modern Germany for you. Even organized sports, or waving the black-red-gold flag at a football game is labeled as "nazi-like"...

  • If you're talking about the Swastika on the German AirCraft, it can't be removed. Its historic, and illegal to remove any sign of the Nazi rade.

  • swastika is illegal in germany i believe

  • yes it is

  • VERBOTEN! in Germany.......

  • was ist verboten???

  • I would love to put on a warbird airshow where nobody is constantly yelling through a public address system.

  • what a magnificant sound.. and machine itself

  • Nicely flown. I would like to see it flown in the air alongside the Spitifre and Hurricane on the UK circuit.

  • Great vid, nice work!

  • Danke an Dieternen! Next little less zoom, try to follow the plane with background. Sound quality was perfekt! Best 109´s motor sound ever heard! Surprisingly similar to RR Merlin engine found on Spit and P51!

  • hey its not that bad, nice vid

  • sorry for the bad videoqualiti but the sound is better and thats important for the me 109
