  • I had not watched this in a while on of the few good things about austism is real good dam long term memory. you rock dude. PS. since you hate alien vs predator requiem word of advice avoid serbian film at al cost. Maybe the blob remake.

  • Agreed, but you can watch X-men animated series free on marvel.com vs spending money on it... there was a youtube user who posted every episode but he was kicked off....

  • @motox745 I'll take physical media over streaming any day. I want to own it. Forever. To enjoy forever.

  • @Zaranyzerak

the bit rate fucken suck on them.

  • @slagarcrue85 Yeah, the bitrate for streamable media is always a LOT lower than physical media. For something in SD, you're usually looking at about 1000-1500kbps for streamable, vs 6000+ for disc-based. not even close to the same quality. With HD content the difference is even more extreme.

  • sean in your opion is Rogues voice in the 90s show pure sex to you ik it is to me but you know iam a huge Rogue fan lol. Lenore Zann made Rogue so loveable and special thats why it takes me a while to get use to Evo Rogues voice and the Wolvie x-men Rogues voice.

  • You can get season sets in EU actually...

    Season 1&2

    Season 3

And season 4&5 will be released in August :D

  • @ScarzVampX Yeah, they're all available here now too.

  • @ScarzVampX link me

  • really!? I couldn't find it...guess I didn't look hard enough.

  • @TownianScout Yep, just check on amazon or wherever you normally buy DVDs. The entire 76-episode run has been released in 5 Volumes, the last of which was released just a couple of weeks ago.

  • the reason they don't look at the bootleg numbers is because.....well....THEY'RE BOOTLEG! There are no "numbers" no one is out there recording how many bootlegs they sell or for how much. But you are totally right. I would buy the series in a heartbeat if not for its staying true to the comics for nostalgic reasons. That generation that viewed it brand new is now grown up making money and completely hooked on things like this.

  • @TownianScout Well, OBVIOUSLY they can't ring up a bootlegger and ask him for his sales figures. But a simple bit of googling and seeing just how MANY bootleggers offered that show as one of their top titles would have made it pretty obvious. Or glancing around ebay and seeing how many sellers were regularly selling dozens, if not hundreds of sets of the show (and that's something you CAN look at) But the entire series is out on DVD now, so this is kinda outdated by this point.

  • i want spiderman animated series 90s cartoon

  • I gotta be honest. I like X-Men 3. It's not the best movie I've seen, but it's A LOT better than you give it credit for.

People praise X-Men 1 more than they should. I remember going to the theater dying to like the movie, and winding up bored out of my mind. Not only that, but they ruined Rogue's character, had too much emphasis on Senator Kelly only to have him disappear from the story, and the plot lacked action. I still can't watch X 1 without fast forwarding half the film.

  • he got it wrong...magneto appeared in the second episode of the first season..

but its wrong that they do the stupid volume in a season rather than one entire season..

  • Yes, I am fully aware of Magneto's first appearance in the series. What did I get wrong?

  • I want to buy the X-Men animated series... but I want to buy a FULL season!

  • Well, there's only one volume to go. The first 4 seasons are pretty much covered by the volumes that are out so far. Waiting for a full release can sometimes hurt the chances of sets like this being completed. If the early volumes don't sell well enough, later volumes sometimes get abandoned.

  • Studios are such DUMBASSES sometimes!

  • Right on!

  • Zaranyzerak

    Did you pick up X-Men Volume 1 & 2 on DVD ?

I am really considering buying them.

I'd like to see the 1994 Spider-Man Animated Series on DVD.

  • Well I'm one year too late, :D Of course the DVDs are on sale now in the US and the UK. Season 3: Volume 1 is due out in the UK in June.

  • Those DVD cases by Universal was just odd. Really odd! We only had the Phoenix Saga released on DVd in the UK by Universal, but at least the box art just featured the X-Men and no the Sentinels didn't appear in the Phoenix Saga at all, I don't know what Universal were doing with that. I'm amased though that the other Buena Vista DVD/ video 'Wolverine's Story' wasen't released in North America. Very strange. Oh that DVD had some more random Wolverine episodes.

  • how come they've released the seasons across 3 discs? why not do a full season on one boxset like every other show is...

  • Clear Vision probably thought volumes will sell better. BTW Seasons 1 and 2 each had two volumes, while Season 3 will have 4. I'm unsure how many volumes Season 4 will have, or Season 5 once it's released.

  • So, what did you think of the new DVDs, Zan?

  • Quality could of been better.. they could of did a full remaster like they did with the ghostbuster set or even like the TMNT sets.. but awesome dvds, they go nice along with my TMNT volumes and complete ghostbuster set.. hope they release the rest, and i cant wait for the 7th season of TMNT to release, if you are a fan it comes in 4 volumes, old school turtle figure in EACH one.. WICKED

  • Oh, I'll be grabbing Season 7 for sure (I've got Seasons 1-6)! They're doing that set basically as a 25th Anniversary thing. Can't wait!

  • Its not so bad. A full remaster could've been nice, but the original animation is what makes this a great classic cartoon from the 90s. This quality is exactly what I expected. Extras such as interviews, commentaries, and additional artwork would've been nice too. Still, I'm glad this cartoon is finally and officially on DVD and I hope to see the rest of this series on DVD very soon.

  • Sounds like the odds of that happening are pretty good! Both volumes have been solidly in the Top 20 Movies/TV sales on amazon all week, and some enterprising fans just found the cover art for Volume 3! They could easily wrap it up in two more volumes. Here's hoping!

  • Thats great news. I also just saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine today. I thought it was a good movie. Gambit was pretty cool. There is always a few flaws in the movies. Mainly in X-Men: The Last Stand.

  • The movies are okay, but they just don't seem to measure up to the comic books. The movies are not quite faithful to the comic books.

  • I picked up X-Men volume 1 and 2 along with the first season of Ghostbusters. I'm happy even though I won't be spending much for a while.

  • should i buy the new dvd cuase i bought the bootleg already and the bootlegs are good HQ

  • Yes. I've always felt that bootlegs should ONLY be used as placeholders until an official release comes out, and to support the official releases. Buying the official releases just encourages the companies to release MORE of our old faves later.

  • where did u buy the bootlegs from and what are they like?

  • I didn't buy them, I just downloaded a set a while ago. The quality was watchable, but nowhere near DVD quality. But as I said, they're getting chucked now because I want to support the official release.

  • you can get season 1 and season 2 on two Volumes each it was released in january 2009

  • I know, it's been discussed at length in the comments for the past several months, and I bought them.

  • Zaranyzerak

How good is the quality of the X-Men Vol.1 & 2 on DVD.

  • the quality sucks.. on them

  • How so? Chances are they don't have film prints of them, so a straight, mildly cleaned up transfer off the broadcast masters is as good as we're ever likely to see. It was a standard def show, edited and mastered in standard def. I've been working my way through the sets, and have yet to seen anything objectionable qualtiy-wise. It's miles better than the umpteen bootlegs we've been putting up with for years.

  • In short, NO show from the mid-90's and earlier is going to look anywhere near as crisp and clean as modern shows do, with very few exceptions. I think I'll have to address this in my review video.

  • and also i would like to know do u know if wonder years is on dvd i love that show and i miss it soo much

  • Wonder Years was awesome, and is one of the most requested shows for DVD release. Unfortunately, it's currently in licensing hell because of all the music used in the show. So it might be quite a while before we see a proper release, if ever... :(

  • is there any release u know off even if pirated its a nostalgia trip for me mind u im only 24 i used to watch that show every day after school see in canada they used to play an hour i think or maybe just half of it and i i find now that im older its just that much better cuz i watch the re runs on a chaneel calle jeja vu

  • i agree id like to have spiderman 2 but not not expenvie i wont pay more than 40 for a season of this

  • idk i dont remmeber

  • at least we're finally getting the first two volumes on tuesday. those are definitely gonna sell like hot cakes. especially at 18$ a piece.

  • Yes! I'll be VERY surprised if these don't fly out the door and Disney doesn't rush Volumes 3 and 4 into production right away!

  • I look forward to them.

  • I completely agree with this nerd. Which i guess makes me a nerd too.............

  • Lol! Nerds of the world unite! :D

  • 90s xmen cant be beat.....

  • We actually did a petition a few years back to get this actually released. I believe the rationale was by some absurd metrics, Hasbro found rereleasing that series to be probably an unprofitable venture. Probably going off viewership when it was moved to Disney or something. Though, I believe in addition to the upcoming releases here finally, it's already been released in the UK. Rude Bastards.

  • Season 1 was released in the U.K. as two volumes last year, no word on the rest being released over there as of yet. We're already getting more than they did with our two volumes though, specifically Seasons 1, 2 and the first part of 3 (the first 37 episodes total).

  • D'oh...32 episodes, that is.

  • you should do a follow up video, confirm it and show us the nice cover art, and give us your thoughts on it.

  • Oh, I will. But I'm going to wait until I actually have them (they come out April 28th), so I'll just do a proper review video then.

  • Sell like hotcakes? I better pre-order mine now!

  • Is'nt it funny that volumes 1 and 2 are coming out the same week that the new X Men origins: Wolverine movie is coming out. It just seemed interesting.

  • So since they are coming out with volumes of the x men cartoon are you going to take this down or leave it up, because its a cool rant.

  • Yes i am happy to inform you that the first 2 volumes are coming out april 23

  • April 28th, actually.

  • The artwork on the X-Men Volume Sets has been updated. Looks very nice. Check it out for yourself. I guess a lot of people complained about the artwork before.

  • I just saw that. It's also possible that the artwork before was just "temp" art. The new versions definitely look nicer!

  • x men series season coming soon in april!!!

  • I know - check the comments (I also talk about it in the podcast)

  • I would give my left pinky for xmen tas seasons.

  • I'm VERY happy to report that YES, at long last thw show is coming to DVD! In proper story order, complete and uncut! :) At the moment there are tow volumes coming out, each with two discs, containing the first 34 episodes total. Here's hoping they sell well and we'll see the rest in the enxt release!

  • I Remember ('93,'94) when I was 8 years old, I used to tape the original x-men episodes from fox kids. Trying hard to get the right flow from the story, from season 2 onwards. this is how I learned to speak english for god's sakes lol. I lost the tapes moving back in the day, I've been looking for a DVD set of all the seasons -- now here is my question--

IS THE SHOW REALLY COMING OUT ON DVD?

  • the animated series comes out on dvd in april dude in two, two disk sets.

  • SOME of it does. There's still no word on what episodes are on it. If it's being released in order (which we're all hoping it is), it should be the first two seasons, or 13 episodes per set.

  • Actually, I just read on TV Shows on DVD that there is now offical information about the DVD releases. I am satisfied! You should check it out.

  • It is even better than I expected it to be.

  • I spoke too soon, I just read it! Damn, I'm impressed. Not only the first two seasons (COMPLETE and IN ORDER - including Days of Future Past, thank god!), but the first part of the third as well! 33 episodes total. Looks lie they might be able to release the whole series in 4 volumes (just make one a 3-disc or something). This is AWESOME news, I must make a video about it...

  • from 3:50 to 3:57 he sounds just like william shatner!!!!!

  • LOL!!! Unintentional dramatic pause...hahaha

  • Can you do a x-men evolution rant

  • YES! I just found this out tonight as well! Also, notice how they are part of the "Marvel Comics Collection". Does this mean we're going to get Spider-Man, Hulk, Avengers, and Silver Surfer?

  • Only time will tell! I'd REALLY like to see a Silver Surfer Complete Series set. Can't believe that WASN'T released to tie-in with the second FF movie...

  • I hope so. Greatest cartoons ever.

  • X-MEN IS COMING TO DVD IN AMERICA!!!

It was announced that Disney has decided to release two Volume, 2 disc sets of X-Men on dvd on April 28th!! I pray that Disney will do these sets justice and that they will be complete seasons in order with no edited or cut scenes. But this is wonderful news. Please buy these sets if Disney does them justice!

  • AWESOME NEWS! I just read the story about it on tvshowsondvd the other day. Hopefully Disney has finally seen the light and these will be PROPER Season sets in story continuity order and not more random episode compilations...

  • Yes! I just read the news as well. I've been wanting this cartoon to be released on DVD for a long time.

  • AWESOME NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

  • I sure hope so to. I wish Disney would watch your rant since everything you said is exactly what we all collectively want here. I just really don't want them to fudge this release up. For the time being, I will remain hopeful that they will be full, uncut season sets and in order.

  • I also found out that the first season of the X-Men Animated Series is now available on iTunes. That's cool, but I'd rather own these on DVD. Maybe it was your DVD RANT that finally got them interested in releasing this cartoon on DVD.

  • Cable3999, there is already bad news to be reported about Season 1 on iTunes. It turns out that "Days Of Future Past" part 1 and 2 are both missing from the line-up as Disney refuses to air these same episodes. I am praying that they are included on the upcoming dvds however I am now getting nervous.

  • Wtf??? How could they leave out Days of Future Past? That's one of the all-time favorite stories from both the comics and the show... Not to mention a pretty significant part of the overall continuity of the series...

  • I don't know man. I just know that Toon Disney never played these 2 episodes nor the episode called "Longshot". But if they don't include them on the dvd releases, I will be so disappointed.

  • Yeah, this is bad news. I hope they are included on the DVD releases.

  • Episode list just released - they're included. No word on Longshot, as it would be in the next set somewhere... But Days is definitely there. :D

  • I know man, I just saw it the other day. If Disnye really does release these in order and uncut (and will release the rest of the series soon as well) then I will forgive them for their previous floppers. I am so happy to see these coming out. No one who calls themselves an X-Men fan has ANY excuse whatsoever to not get these!

  • i love your rantes and your videos you are righyt they need to relece thoes

  • Here's a good question... any bootlegs available that come from a reputable source? And are all of high quality? I mean... who cares if it's a bootleg. The complete season for 50 bucks is a great deal.

  • Yes, it's called BITTORRENT. Meaning, all the bootlegs out there are of pretty poor quality and you shouldn't pay a cent for them. If you're just looking for a copy to watch and hold you over until an official release happens, honestly just download 'em for free. The quality you'll be getting with that set won't be much better, and is most likely made FROM the same set you would otherwise be downloading for free. I've seen a LOT of X-Men sets over the years, and I wouldn't pay for any of 'em.

  • Everything said here was sited and completely correct. This show was playing during an age of animated comic book series cartoons that still holds the title of most accurate.

Disney missed out, Marvel didn't get up the license (of which I don't know why), and 20th Century missed there chance on quick money if they dodged the movie releases.

  • Oh yeah, also:

I didn't know Disney has the license.

And what for?! 'X-Men: The Animated Series'?!...

Why doesn't Marvel or like 20th Century try to acquire it?

Since they're stíll working on movies, even related to X-Men.

And I doubt it would cost too much, even to buy from Disney.

If not 20th Century alone, they could team up with Marvel and try to get it then.

Doesn't it also just belong to Marvel-

    creators?

I know it's about who has the license to use it, but... there must be way!

  • I almost agree completely:

The whole part of releasing it with the movies would have been perfect.

And I think the word you were looking for was like "marketing-perspective".

And I hate that so much, these things that are so logical to release and wóuld sell.

And I mean from these kinds of DVDs to other stuff.

However, I don't agree with the very last part, hundreds of dollars.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a hardcore fan but I watched it as a child, it's like "in my blood".

    But come on... :D

  • Random tangent: The DVD cover with Juggernaut fighting the Hulk came from the episode "The Juggernaut Returns" where Professor X used a danger room hologram of the Hulk to distract Juggernaut. Still not relevant to the episodes on that DVD, but I thought I'd throw that out there.

  • fox doesn't own these cartoons anymore some how disney owns them

  • I know, Buena Vista (Disney parent company) has been sitting on them for a while. Thought I mentioned that somewhere in the video...might have been in another video.

  • I feel your pain dude. I have a bootleg version. Its actually quite good, even has the pilot that wasn't piked up, however I lost one of the disks. I would love to buy a real DVD set of the entire series.

  • I agree 100% I DL all 76 episodes last year and i'm watchin them all and the quality is good to mediocre at times. What amazes me is that we have seen like 4 different box sets of Robotech and none on X-Men. While im at it why are they having these inferior new X-MEn sohws come out. I watched EVo a few tims and I was disgusted. Then they have a new series that is about to come out and it looks the same as Evo. I hate that animation BTW.

  • i'm looking threw different ones and some say 77 and some say 76, why

  • There was a pilot episode in 1988 called "Pryde of the X-Men," but that version wasn't picked up as a series. The pilot was released on video several times, though. They might be including that as part of the overall count.

  • it is avaliable, i just saw it on ebay for like 50 bucks. im goin to see if i can order it brand new tho

  • All the sets you see on ebay are bootleg DVDs made from TV recordings, it's never been released officially. The only official releases have been the random volumes I showed in the video, and recently there was a Region 2 release of the first season. That's it.

  • You might as well just download a set online for free, since it's most likely that's what the makers of those ebay sets did anyway.

  • they are on amazon too bro, look it up

  • Yes, the DVDs of random episodes that I profiled in this video are on amazon, the complete series is not (I just looked it up). And if it IS, then it too is a bootleg. Bootlegs of cartoons show up on amazon all the time. Trust me, you're talking to someone who keeps VERY close tabs on these things - it is not officially available from ANY source. Buena Vista (Disney) still holds the rights, and they aren't letting them go any time soon. If it isn't a Buena Vista release, it's a bootleg.

  • With the exception of the first three releases, which were presumably released before Buena Vista acquired the rights. If you want to check up on whether a TV show or cartoon has an official release, head over to tvshowsondvd and check their index. The only official releases are the ones I listed.

  • damn really? i dint know. it just found all 76 episodes on ebay just look up "X-Men The Complete Animated Series 8 Disc 76 Episod DVD" but i dint know that they were bootleg copies. anyways bootleg or not, im still buying it. its all 76 episodes pluss an extra bonus "pryde of the xmen" better than nothin

  • Hey, it's your money. Just wanted to make sure you knew what you were buying. But just a FYI, it's available online for free (including the pilot) from any number of torrent sites. I'd hate to see anyone blow 50 bucks for a bootleg edition that's most likely made FROM those downloaded versions...

  • true true, ive thot about that too. its funny how the creators and owners of the show could be making that money if they got off their ass and actualy made the real DVD's intead it goes to the people that make the bootleg copies lol

  • Here, here! Especially regarding Disney; it's almost as if they're afraid to put out something they weren't directly involved in because if they do, people will realize that higher-quality animation sources exist. *cough*Studio Ghibli*cough*

  • I agree 100%. The only reason I watch Toon Disney is for the X-men, Iron Man, and Incredible Hulk cartoons that come on there. The rest of the shows suck on there.

  • Dude, that's exactly what I said with Spider-Man: The Animated series. With the all the money Raimi's Spider-Man films made, you'd think they would've released all five (or more) seasons of Spider-Man:TAS already.

  • Yes, why has this not been done?!!? i made a Petition form online and its been steasily filling up since 1999, i keep hearing and seeing ads for box sets, but theyre all boot legs, i really do hope that the stuff that the UK is releasing makes it over here! i also emailed MARVEL and some companies involved with X-MEN and they said that there are leagal/ownership issues that need to be resolved first... BAH!! i figure itll cost about $100 for the box set if it hits retail.

  • The Original X-Men Animation Series is now on DVD in the UK!!! Woo Hoo!!! =) I'm So bying the 1st few Episodes today!!! =)

  • I totally agree with you! You make so much sense, i can only hope the right people hear it!

I mean it is so very true, the animated series is highly popular and the official boxsets would fly off the shelves! Gah! Now i feel all rantful too..

  • I totally agree!

I mean, you can get the animated Batman on dvd and several other series too, why not X-Men? Especially as it's so popular.

  • I think the reason why X-Men isn't coming out on DVD, is cuz Fox... hates X-Men, because when the series was airing, Fox had no control over it, cuz the entire show was done in house at Marvel, and Fox had no control over it, and if you nottice, in later seasons, the animation actually gets worse, cuz Fox kept cutting the show's budget.

  • that makes sense. they are a bunch of control freaks.

  • I'm waiting for the DVD release too. I do have the most of the episodes on VHS (FOX Kids Videos) to tide me over 'til somebody brings it to VHS. Hopefully they're listening to you (us).

  • Where is it!? So many other less popular and well known shows from that era on DVD but not X-Men! WTF!?

  • Dude, I so totally agree with you on everything you said. I have wanted the X-men animated series on DVD for so long. It was one of the best cartoons of my child hood, that I actually was excited to wake up EARLY on a Saturday morning just to watch.......IT'S FREAKING RIDICULOUS!!!

  • Yep, I completely agree. I have been waiting for a good quality release of X-Men for 10 years now. It's unacceptable that no one has released this masterpiece in America on dvd. I have been in communication with Liberation Entertainment about their release of the show in the UK, and they assured me that if they could release the dvds here in America, they would. However no one seems to know exactly who owns the rights, nor does anyone know how to obtain them. It's inexcusably ridiculous!

  • I agree

  • same problem with Spider-Man: The Animated Series

  • i agree i want the animated series to come out too... but wouldn't 5 discs be plenty for 76 episodes... then again i don't know too much how much fits on a dvd and what does not... but i agree want X-men soooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad

  • Not even close. At MOST you can fit about 8 episodes of a half-hour show on a dual layer DVD without compromising the quality. Anything more, and you need to compress it more heavily which reduces the quality. A 5-disc set would mean they're cramming 15 episodes per disc. The ONLY way to do that would be sub-VCD quality, compressed into oblivion (Meaning a real DVD, not a disc full of DIVX/XVID files). I do a lot of encoding myself, and never put more than 4 episodes per single-layer disc.

  • i want season sets and i want Lenore Zann aka Rogue in interviews comentarys and stuff, Zaranyzerak Lenore is on youtube her chanel is LZakaRogue very nice lady cept it takes a while for her to get back to your message cause shes a busy woman, you should ask her about the sets maybe she knows something.

  • I like your idea of using bootleg sales as market research. That's very clever.

  • i got a pretty good bootleg set from ebay , i think it has like 8 disks. im happy with it

  • "I don't even want to think about the compression artifacts that must be present in those puppies." Neither do I. Haaaauurrible, Haaaurible artifacts. I would like to make a YTMND about this.

  • this is the one DVD box set that i would want above all else. Even D&D is out on Box set? hopefully it will happen soon. Loved all the 80s and 90s cartoons.

  • I've looked this up myself, because the show you are talking about is one of my favorite series of all time. The biggest problem I've seen is that Disney seems to own the rights to the show while Marvel owns the rights to the characters, and they don't seem to be on speaking terms about the old series. I believe Marvel is trying to reaquire the rights to the show and may therefore be blocking the set release. If that's true, I simply hope Marvel gets the rights and puts out the set. Great show.

  • Amen!

  • i hate when tv shows release dumb volume dvds.why do they even make em?!?!?.it's stupid!.they should release the seasons of a show on dvd and thats it

  • I know... Individual volumes of seasons of volumes of random episodes may have been okay, oh I dunno, TWENTY YEARS AGO at the DAWN of home video when there wasn't really a TV on DVD market yet, but nowadays it's completely unacceptable. Consumers expect more value for their DVD-spending dollar.

  • did u see the PS9 AND Future iPod vids?

  • I've seen the PS9 one before. Awesome. Haven't watched the other one yet.

  • if they made a PS9.would u buy it?

  • and how come there arent any season sets of

    X-Men: Evolution?!?!?

  • There's a Season 3 set, the first two were released as Volumes - Season 1 - Volume 1, Season 1 - Volume 2, etc.

  • Whar bugs me is that Disney released the Fantastic Four cartoon on DVD during the 1st movie, both of which to me were the worst of the Marvel cartoons/movies!!! WTF!!!!

  • What baffled me was that NO ONE released the SUPERB Silver Surfer cartoon when the second FF movie came out... That would have been a perfect tie-in opportunity.

  • I don't know what the problem is!! I mean, c'mon, Cinderella 10 comes out next month!!! j/k

  • I completely agree with you. I had to resort to downloading all 5 seasons through BitTorrent. The first season was a rip from Fox Kids, and 2-5 was a rip from the Disney channel. It was good quality, but certainly not the preferred DVD standard. It also takes up 12GB, I'd much rather have it on my shelf than my hard drive.

  • I think I have the exact same torrent. Definitely better quality than I've seen previously (plus all the episodes are in stereo, which is nice), but yeah. Give me a proper DVD release over a torrent any day. Something I can actually display proudly in my collection!

  • Anther thing Iv noticed is the dvds that are out there on amazon for one, are so over priced that no one will buy them.

  • Oh I know, it's ridiculous. Even on ebay there's some sellers with them as Buy It Now items, charging up to 200 dollars a piece... Price gouging like that makes me ill.

  • I just recently learned some disturbing news. The reason Buena Vista/Disney bought the rights was, get this, so they could play it on Jetix. Guess what? They dont play it on there any more. Along with the Spiderman series. This infuriates me. MARVEL please get the rights back or Fox or whatever. I just want it on DVD. Oh yeah Btw where did you get Beast Wars Seasons? I've looked everywhere and can't find them.

  • i want to see Lenore Zann aka Rogue on the dvd if they ever come out shes a cool lady still gorgeous and her Rogue voice makes me melt lol, they really should put this on dvd this was a good show, the only thing i hated was the Gambit Rogue thing but other than that i loved the show.

  • Oh man I used to watch that show, I loved it. I would so buy the DVD set too. Haha it's been so long since I saw it.

  • I agree with you 100% on your whole rant. I am totally glad you mentioned the Buena Vista Disney thing cuz that really upsets me. They really need to release this out on DVD. I would run out and get it first thing. I loved that show and still do to this day.

  • I know, it just baffles me - I mean, WHY bother buying up all the rights to a show if you're not going to DO anything with it? Infuriating!

  • i agree 100% with you i loved this show when i was a kid. it stuck mainly to the comics more the other x-men shows or the movies did. you got to know each charicter and their past it was woderfull show and it makes no sence not to put it out into dvd box sets. you got emotionaly conected to the charicters as the show went on why they dont put it out yet put out stupid shows i beyond me.

  • Exactly! which is one of the reasons the handful of releases we HAVE got are annoying as hell - random selections of episodes, where it's CLEARLY a continuing story and meant to be watched in order. It was basically a soap opera with mutants! :D

  • I heard marvel is trying to get the rights back to the animated series

  • That would be awesome. I'm sure THEY would actually DO something with it. I hate t when companies buy up all the rights to something then just SIT on it forever and do nothing... Same thing happened with Reboot, which is why we haven't seen a proper DVD release of that yet.

  • x-men animated series is finally coming out on a season type dvd set but its gonna be region 2 uk. if you have a region free dvd player u should be good to go. june 30th there releasing seasOn ! part one.

  • Thanks for the heads up! Not a lot of info available yet, it seems (I checked it out on amazon uk), but it's good to see at least SOMETHING happening. Maybe this means we'll see a Region 1 release at some point then. I know a lot of other cartoons were released first in the U.K., then later here (He-Man, dungeons and Dragons, etc.). Failing that, I do indeed have a multi-region player. :)

  • Yeah, like how they won't release the the fourth season of xmen evolution. they should have done the season reasing thing that you said with the realse of xmen evolutiuon season four and pryde of the xmen.

  • Interesting, I didn't actually now that the last season of Evolution wasn't out yet (shows how little I paid attention to that one...hehehe). Pryde of the X-Men was just a pilot episode, it's been released on VHS a few times over the years (I have it). It would make a nice EXTRA on a set of the 90's series, though!

  • I completely agree and I've been wondering the same damn thing. RELEASE THE X-MEN!!!!! SCREW X-MEN EVOLUTION!!! WE WANT THE ORIGINAL!! WE WANT THE ORIGINAL!!!1

  • Hear hear! It boggles my mind why so many other, less notable shows, have been given the royal treatment but THIS one (and the 90's Spider-Man, for that matter) have yet to appear... 3 movies later (all perfect tie=-in opportunities), and lackluster random episode DVDs (if anything). C'mon
