I love this song and always have. Leonard Cohen wrote it. You should sing more of his songs, everyone should do more Leonard Cohen. His is an amazing song writer. Don't know this Jake Buckley, but give Leonard Cohen his due. It is the right thing to do. Love your voice. Rufus Wainright sings a beautiful version also.

when you sing its always nice to put an h sound in front of a vowel. at least that's what my director says.

that doesn't make much sense. then some words could become other words and change the meaning of the song for the audience.

ear becomes hear, eat becomes heat, ate become hate, oh become hoe, and becomes hand; you get my point

but yeah, to my ear, because the H is silent in Hallelujah,esp. in singing where one would usually want to enunciate (particularly in most songs that contain the word Hallelujah; not necessarily this one) Not a huge deal, I just thought she might want to know.

you're fantastic and put something into this song that no one else has yet (and I've been through a whole lot of videos!) but I don't think this song gives you something that no other has. Great job, and yes, Jeff Buckley did a knock-out cover of it but it was written by Leonard Cohen. And it's been covered by a lot of young singers which makes geezers like me who started listening to Leonard in 1967 very happy!

Great - just one comment. I would like you to do a "take 2"

and do it without the arrangement of the guitar in the background. Just simple piano or guitar will really change the whole song. Right now the music is competing too much with your beautiful voice.
