I wish to see all other songs of this film. The same were available till few weeks back (including this song in the flashback with heated arguments between Sunit Dutt and Leela Naidu), But I am unable to locate those songs now. Particularly, I want to listen: "Gunahon ka diya tha haq..." and "Aaj yeh meri jindgi dekho shushi mein jhoomti". Can anybody help me please.
A very sweet romantic duet. I always found the exquisite looks of Leela Naidu intriguing. That she was part French explains it. She had a unique, magnetic loveliness. Thanks for the upload ,skz7691, and for the info, prabhakala.
This film was produced by Ajanta Arts, the production house owned by late Sunil Dutt. The film was directed by R. K. NAYYAR husband of Sadhana and music was composed by Ravi. The film was based on the famous Nanavati case.
Vogue named her as one of the ten most beautiful women in the world, along with Gayatri Devi. Became an icon for women's liberation in India after her non-orthodox role with Sunil Dutt in Yeh raaste hain pyar ke.
Her first husband was Tikki Oberoi, the son of Mohan Singh Oberoi, the founder of Oberoi Hotels chain, with whom she had twin daughters, but later divorced and married poet Dom Moraes.
The Actress in Leel Naidu who has starred in a number of Hindi films as well as some by Merchant Ivory Productions. Her father was the well known nuclear physicist Ramaiah Naidu from Andhra Pradesh while her mother was of French origin. In 1954 Leela Naidu was the Femina Miss India. She had very short but impressive acting career. Offers were coming her way but she quit movies to marry (and later divorce) poet Dom Moraes, who was her childhood sweetheart.
