Is there any way to open the safe without the decryptions skill? I'm a Soldier and they don't have the decryption skill. So it seems impossible for me to complete the quest. Any help?

According to Mass Effect Wikia, if you return to the Normandy after clearing the base and once again return to the base the skill difficulty level will decrease.

Those enemies have a great strategy. By saying "There's enemies everywhere," and "Go, go, go," There is a good chance any soldiers opposing them will commit suicide.

Enemy: "There's enemies everywhere!"

Me: "God. Just shut the fuck up!!!" Kills self with shotgun...

no u are not, just take the following crew members; Wrex, and Tali. as simple as that, but dont use Tali for awile so she will get lots of experence points so u can boost up her tech. hope this helps...

Heh, I'm experimenting with the SR at the moment, although having no skill points makes things a tad tricky.

A tad, you can't aim it if you don't have the skill. I wasn't very happy about the restrictions, all the weapons have their uses. Which is why I used my soldier to unlock weapon skills for future characters. You are such a nice guy, enemies use 'carnage' on you but you don't on them.
