Years ago I bought a Direct-to-Disc record with Dr Longhurst at the Tabernacle Organ (together with a George Wright one, second hand at Jazz Special, Utrecht, hahaha), a nice addition to the collection,
Hi Rob. I have been listenig to you playing several sampleset and all of them sound very similar: And also very different from other players. Is it for some kind of special reberveration you apply? Which one?. Do you prefer dry sampleset with added reb? Thanks

I always enjoy listening to you! You are a very gifted organist and musician! Do you concertize? Our church is now looking for a new pipe organ to replace the ailing. Would love to have you do a recital!
Very nice piece, and you played it well as usual! I've enjoyed your videos and am intrigued by the Hauptwerk reproduction of pipes-they do a good job!
As usual, an excellent job. I enjoy watching you play as much as the satisfaction from the wonderful sound. I never cease to be amazed how good this set up sounds. Allen and Rodgers don't seem to come close (at least nothing I've heard or played). Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful gift with us here. Best Wishes from a very cold southeast Louisiana. :-)
Nice playing, great new manuals, wonderful piece of music and the dog is precious! My partner and I have a tri-coloured Cavalier and she is a handful as is our Dachshund.
Great piece, Rob, thanks for recording it. I guess it's been quite a while since you've posted -- new console, new keyboards (I have the same ones, except reverse color naturals/sharps), even you look different! Where are the speakers now? Are you still using the same ones?
@violagamba The Haverhill OIC does have a crescendo pedal, but I didn't use it here. The build-up you're hearing starting at 2:02 is a combination of pistons and opening the swell shades.
Thanks for the info. Nice playing !!!!! I noticed in some of your earlier 3-manual postings that you had six white speakers set up. I have yet to get some speakers as i am afraid i will get the wrong ones. Which speakers do you recommend for a room of your size ? My room is about the same size.
@violagamba I'm using the DefTech SM450s. I've been happy with them, I'm sure the 350s, which are a little smaller and less expensive would do just fine as well.
Always good to see a new mini performance from you. New keydesk is impressive! Should feel much more comfortable under the fingers. Thanks again for the post. Jim
Great addition to your channel. The introduction with you talking is an excellent idea. You should get a big picture of you playing the tabernacle organ and put that on the wall.
@cswainhart Thanks Chris! I was going back and forth on whether or not to show my mug on YouTube, but people always request it, so I figured a little introduction was appropriate.
@goodchappy I think that depends on how your budget looks. I think it's safe to say that the wooden keyboards fall into the luxury category. That being said, they provide a very satisfying feel that is different from the plastic model. It's nice to have some texture under your fingers while you play.
Excellent! Your keyboard looks darker, did you color it in a darker shade? Looks antique, I like it. It looks a little bit like Pirates of the Caribbean, hahaha!
@stefanussen That helps a lot. I used to play on a Johannus Organ, the keys were made of plastic and it really made the instrument feel like a cheap plastic toy. On the other hand I used to play another organ with wooden keys and it was awesome. You could see that the muscles in my fingers developed LOL. The feeling you got from playing was great. It was a real pipe organ with 4 manuals, so even if it had plastic keys it was like riding a Cadillac!

@rmanzanog1 I do add impulse response reverberation. This is the FrB40 IR @ -7.5dB if I recall correctly.

Robert- What kind of shoes are you using? They dont appear to be Organmasters. Is the heel 1 1/4 inch ? Or is it higher?

@AllTheStopsJB The shoes are Capezio 445s, 1" heel.

Your playing is beautiful, and the virtual organ is pretty amazing, too!
Are Allen and Rodgers shaking in their boots yet, or are they too
hidebound to even notice how far Hauptwerk has come? ;-)

Would you say the wooden keys are worth the extra money?
