to me, this song is about friendships that fade away (we are a rocket that fell out of orbit). Sometimes, friendships fade and it's not anyone's fault (we couldn't stop it, we couldn't control it), the spark dies. We ride a train and get off at our stop ( we ran a good course, it was a good flight...). We are all people that pass through other people's lives, but this song sounds like the singer has come to peace with that. The acoustic one sounds like the break up was more recent
