Regardless of the whole debate of hybrid vs non hybrird who the hell would trust a machien to help them park?
I mean I'd rather park in a place where I know I can park rather than worry about me knowing how to use a machine proplerly to help me park properly. :(

Hybrids have killed people in accidents, the batteries explode and they don't save gas! Hybrids dont work because they are liberal environmental. They need lots of repairs too. Better to wait for hydrogen and not doing anything until then. Hydrogen is made out of normal, regular fossil fuels so oil companies won't go bankrupt and hurt the economy and lose people's jobs. But if we buy hybrids, oil companies will lay everybody off and ipods will be too expensive. Think about JOBS not saving gas.
Well LatteLiberal, you can think about JOBS but what if you HAVE a job but doesn't have the big a salary? And plus who the HELL told you that Hybrids need lot's of repairs?? That is a freakin lie!! That depends on how you use the vehicle. And they do save gas, do you even think????? Read more about it at Toyota's Website.
And the batteries don't explode too LatteLiberal. If the car crashes the safety system turns the Hybrid system off to reduce the risk electric shocks I feel bad for those who's Hybrid falls in the ocean. What were you thinking hydrogen??? That's not gonna be useful for another fine years! You'd rather wait for that instead of buying a Hybrid so you can reduce emissions now??? If you say yes, then you suck!
I'm surprised that they do not have the driver yacking away on a cell phone while the car parks itself... That's what it will mean, more "quality" cell phone time for when people should be concentrating on driving!
Isn't it sad seeing something that's been out for years in Japan, but not in the US version of the car? (That's not the only thing; the US version only got backup camera in the '06 model, and still doesn't have the "stealth" button.)
I once drove on a non-public road with a Prius in EV mode and got as close as 2 foot to some pedestrians. They didnt notice me, because the sound of the wind blowing through trees and of birds singing, was already loud enough to let the prius vanish in silence.
So I wanted to pass them by, honked... And one of them turned around, looking at me in terror, started screaming and slamming her hands on the car. She thought she would die...
i think this is the first step until cars start driving themselves

If you can't park that small piece of shit Prius without an autopark for you, you should not be driving.

The video was trying to demonstrate autopark. You should see things objectively, a demo is a demo.

true.
could've parked just fine without it.
and if you need it to drive, you just should get off the roads.

I think its for security reasons.
