Islam is introduced to indonesia in about 700-800 AD by arabic muslim traders.

Wow that's excellent, I like it, Islam and economics as far as I know seems to be in between capitalism and socialism, having the best of both, I always noticed Islam tends to be in the middle in a lot of issues.

Islam supports a free market just like western countries. Islam also has a socialistic element. The rich have a responsibility to care for the poor. In Islam we aren't allowed to give money to people who should be working. Islam encourages hard work (Even the prophet himself used to stack firewood and he was a very hard worker) and also encourages use to support those who are truly in need.
