This is an AMAZING song form an AMAZING band. It's hard to imagine it now, but there was a moment, however brief, that it seemed like Au Pairs were the most serious, important band around. Really. Not that they were THE influence on everyone else, but they managed to embrace all of the ways music would still be great 20 years later. LOUD, SMART, FAST, CONFIDENT.
I was there! At this very gig at the Lycuem in London in September '80....we travelled down from Essex to see the Au Pairs after their gig at Alexandra Palace about 2 months before. U2 also played....needless to say they were ****!
One of my most loved bands, thanks so much for posting this, they still send shivers down my backbone : )

They are showing "Urgh! A Music War" on the big screen in March in L.A. It's worth going just for this performance. Thanx for the upload mate.
