Dartmouth is a joke and hardly challenging...they are never there and we have a friend who goes there and she does only 3 classes a semester and all the classes have been like AP classes...washu is so much more challenging

omgosh I'm Asian and my parents aren't strict, but this video is painful to watch. that's why thre's this stereotype. haha i'm so scared now. i work hard beucase i enjoy learning but i'm freaking scared that colleges are gonna think i'm this stereotypical asian when i'm not :/ anddd ughhh what is it with asian parents with harvard and grades? ughhh makes me soooo frustrated and annoyed.

@linahuang94 your lucky ur parents haven't planned anything for you. Ever since i was born i had to go through programs after programs to get ahead of everyone. I took almost 1 year and half S.A.T. prep. Summer i took S.A.T boot camps which is 8am-6pm or longer.. I had no life and nowdays i begin to wonder what have i been doign all my life..... The momment ur born through school till you finish uni.. my life was like planned out for me -_-... I felt like crap..even now i feel i lost something

Asian parents want kids to go to Harvard cuz the ones who've come straight from China only really know of like 4 schools in the US (at least that's what my host student from China said last year. It's the same for MIT and Princeton and Yale).

Yeah, my parents are happy sometimes, but they're unhappy when they are stressed out about work... grants, funding, overload, etc., luckily I am not to blame... I think that each kid is awesome, but their perspectives are all twisted.Harvard is NOT the best college, and isnot right for most of the kids. When they spend so much times narrowing their ives for the sole purpose of good test scores, they lose their youth, and their understanding of the world and what they want to make of it.
