what a waist lol. Flying from miami to Puerto rico in a 777? wouldn't a 767 be more economical?

Last time i tracked that route it was an AA 757.

Actually, AA flew A300s which had just around 4 more seats than the 777, so a 777 is just as economical, if not cheaper than the A300. Flying a 767, with around 220 seats would be costlier. Less passengers, less revenue.

Besides, this was just a one time substitution. Regular flights from Miami are 757s A300s (now retired) and 737-8s.
