You should watch Dinosaur too, the music from track 2 "The egg travels" should be in this top 10 as well. In my opinion, the ones who post disney soundtracks are the ones with the best music taste.

In my opinion the disney-soundtracks are one of the last real musical songs/melodies/scores whatever you call it, today.

Just saw The Lion King in the Cinema today (For once 3-D did justice to a film) There is nothing like hearing that gorgeous score come from those giant speakers and surround you. I burst out crying. I've always loved that particular score, but hearing it in the theatre as an adult. Well to prevent myself from gushing like a fool. It was "Magical!" Now I want to hear all of my other favorite scores (And see the films) from this list in the Cinema again. :)

Aah!! You included my all time favorite Disney instrument music. "The Crystal Cavern" from Atlantis: the Lost Empire. That movie's so often forgotten that I always jump for joy whenever it's used or mentioned. Fabulous music, fabulous film. Great choices.  ;)

I agree that the orchestral versions of both "Hikari/Simple and Clean" & "Passion" were great but I would've left "Passion" off the list just so I could include the UNSPEAKABLY EPIC main theme of Treasure Planet (on the track "12 Years Later" where Jim is solar surfing--exhilarating!). Great list!

Rescuers Down Under doesn't get NEARLY the attention it deserves...nor does Atlantis, for that matter. They don't really get counted among the Disney classics, and yet I think they deserve that spot hands down. Rescuers Down Under is probably the only GOOD sequel made to anything, while Atlantis was beautiful, with incredible style, amazing music and a great story.
