  • You get the pucker marks for how your base geometry is. Simply one is if you have a triangle, that will give you a pucker mark when your have higher your poly mesh. ZBrush loves quads and hates tris lol.

  • good way to get the natural angle of an ear is that it usually follows the angle of the nose just a tip i got from life drawing

  • Thanks for the tip. I fixed his ears about 4 months ago. You can see my up to date version of the human head model in my "Character Demo Reel 09"

    thanks again

  • np :)

  • hey dude, your ear is at an odd angle. Using the right ear as an example, it needs to be rotated clockwise a little (and the left counterclockwise of course).

  • Thanks Dude

  • if i have 2 meshes like i have a head i made and i want to make an eye with a new sphere and when i've made the eye i cant select the head! what do i do???? please answere! thanks!

  • Do you have the sphere in the SubTool section of the head?

  • look i start of by making a sphere or zsphere if i'm making a body or something. then i modeling it so it looks nice. then i want eyes for this model, should i make a new layer or what? :S

  • OK when you have your body select in the Tool tab right under it there should SubTool button you select that then in the Subtool menu there's a button called Append. When select that you should get the User 3D Meshes menu and choose the mesh you want to use.

  • It's easier to line up eyes in Max, Maya or what ever other 3D software you use. Than export it out as a obj. Than Append it in the subtool of your body model. I find it a pain in the ass to move 2 diffenet meshes together in ZBrush.

  • hehehee ok ;) thank you very much i will try this out later thanks! 5/5 for the help and reply so quickly

  • @ghost7

indeed, I think maya is much better for building your base mesh for everything, because I think its much more of a precision instrument

  • That's a great job!

I'm new at this and can't figure out how to blend properly. I hold shift till the circle turns blue then I left click, but it seems that it is too powerful and destroys my work even though I am using a low intensity. Any suggestions?

  • What your ploy count on your model when you use the Smooth Brush? Because the thing about ZBrush is to take your models to the highest level of detail that you can go. The smooth brush will destroy your model the lower the poly count. I usually start using the Smooth Brush when my models up to 500,000 ploys and up. Not sure if I answered your question correctly, but I hope it helps.

  • simple: the key"shift" is a hot key to the smooth brush. Thinkn by this way, if you lower the intensit of the smooth brush you will resolve the problem. because pressing the "shift" key, is the that go to the smooth brush and puse normaly.

i hope its helps and sorry by the english;)

  • The finished product is not far from the beginning product.

  • man how u fix symetry problem. help me. i cant mend it when i initiate with globe. pls help. is there any short cut

  • you fix symmetry by clicking transform then activate posable symmetry

  • sweeet

  • nice !

  • What is so bad about it?

    A pretty nice face model.

One of the more realistic models, iv'e seen so far.

  • man thats just rude, if u think u can do something better do it and STFU!!!!!
