i think this guy must be being paid by nokia for this unabashed advertisement of their product. i've had an N97 now for 6 weeks, and it is the MOST unwieldy thing to call itself a phone to use that i've owned in 10 years. luckily i didn't have to pay for it!!! the camera IS great though.

Had this phone. Had all kinds of problems with it ALL THE TIME, so I returned it 4 times to the shop and they "fixed" it, but the fifth time I changed to an iPhone. Real glad I did...

I have had MANY smartphones since 1999 and the nokia n97 keyboard is THE WORST keyboard to date. The software is laggy at best and its touch screen is not very responsive. Great for a 79.99 price tag but not worth more than that. This review is extremely biased. The email is a pain to setup and the camera is moderate. Sorry nokia, keep trying.

i have iphone 3gs and recently bought nokia n95 for my wife. Iphone is much better and faster , its just better........(at least for typing, email, exchange, voice control, sms, internet)

I can vouch for that. I have had the n95 and n97. I recently bought an iphone 3GS for my wife and I and the iphone by far is better. Symbian needs to update already.

although i do love this phone (and will be getting it) this review is wayyy to biased. there are some bad things and some good things with this phone. and i've heard people who don't like the keyboard, i wouldn't say its the best keyboard, but its certainly different. I can't wait to get the phone :D

but i must be honest with you.....iphone camera is not 10 mega pixel, but one can always have a camera on the side for better pics, no matter how big the screen is on any device, at the end of the day, it's still a cell phone...i don't use at&t...so i don't have iphone...the phone i want is touch pro 2 with windows and it's capale of playing iphone like games, 3.2 mega pixel camera and 3.6 inches of wide screen and it can also play flash with the free download of skyfire..any site will play.

It's all a matter of taste of course, personally I really like the looks of this phone. And of course the camera on this phone is not going to compare to a real camara... But that's not what phone camaras are meant for... they are just meant to take descent looking pictures wherever you go without having to take a bigsize camera with you all the time.
