@sweetbabynyc that's how tribal fusion women dress. It's more about being earthy like women in ancient tribes. They wore a lot of fancy jewelry/hand made jewelry.

There are videos of her without her costume and jewelry, she is still lovely either way. :)

@Senkaaudra yes there's a skirt over her pants.

They actually sell them and call them belly dance pants lol, but the ones she wears look like the old "trip pants" the kids use to wear back in the 90's. You can buy and find them online at belly dance costume stores, etc. Whenever I dance I wear a pair of regular stretch nylon/cotton/spandex pants with a little bit of a bell bottom to them. I absolutely love Rachel Brice's costumes! :D

Always keeps me fascinated. One day when I have the money and such, I'll buy miself a pair >< And I just have these sheer, black genie like pants my cousin got me with a bra-top to match it for my birthday. I love her and her costumes as well, they are always amazing.<3 :3

I also found a website that has the pattern to making your own belly dance costume like hers. It even tells you how to make a "bra top" and the skirt! Trust me, google is def your friend! lol I think the black outfit i have i might have paid about $40 for or so. missbellydance i think is where i got mine.

If I can find it I will totally have to send it your way! I'm pretty sure you can find tons of this stuff really cheap online. Try amazon or ebay maybe lol.

I hate when people think that this is what belly dance is. This is tribal. She is doing tribal. Her costume, hair, jewelry, makeup, and moves are tribal. Tribal is not real belly dance. My mom is a belly dance teacher, a real one. She teaches traditional Egyptian. I've grown up around belly dance. Now this girl is good...but it's TRIBAL!!!!

Oh yes well I know they are a form of belly dancing, I just hate when people think this is the original style and the ONLY type. I didn't mean to come off rude though. I find most tribal belly dancers (from my own experiences) to have large egos and act like they are better than everyone else. Makes me quite angry. You're right though, about the different styles.

These girls are my idols! I think the worst rumor in bd is that we are strippers, and as you know thats not true either. Does your mom have videos posted I'd love to see them!

Yeah I think it just depends on the person. I've met great Tribal dancers but also a lot of mean ones. Oh I know those girls, not exactly personally but I've probably seen every dancer out there haha. I've been to like every belly dance festival my whole life too. The stripper thing is stupid and untrue!! She doesn't have any posted. She's is the director of the troupe Dance Journey though. She's pretty well known actually in the BD world actually. Idk if you know about her though.

Geez, what an unimportant thing to "hate". I don't think many people believe that Tribal is the "original" and "only" type of belly dance. It's not like they would see traditional Egyptian style and not think it's belly dance. If you don't like the style, that's fine. @Mithrylle well i dont think it is, im bellydancer n tribalfusion dancer too... it has a lot to do with it but it is not the same, bellydancing is other thing, tribal fusion is an american thing that uses bellydancing technique, like other dances technique as ballet, hip-hop, jazz, etc. But, who cares about definitions, the important thing is that dancing is really beautiful, an ART!

I agree! I've been from Turkish, Classical egyptian, and now tribal fusion, and they all interrelate to one another. To say that tribal fusion has no roots in natural belly dance is not true because most of tribal fusion moves rooted from turkish and classical.
