Why don't people understand that being Pro is a commercial distinction more than merit decision. It's both, but more of a money making thing. Everybody has seen skaters that were not really that good but had good styles but made a lot of sales.

Peter Smolik is indisputably not as good as Chris Cole, but he is pro. Daewon Song is insanely good but we don't see his face plastered everywhere, why is this?

It's all about commercializing it.
