Thanos knew that he had to do this to keep Galactus from destroying him.If Thanos was so tough he would have ran up on Galactus head on But he didn't.Galactus is not to approached the wrong way.He's the biggest threat out there.Infinty Gauntlet was twisting things it took away from the real storyline of Galactus.Making him look weak.Reality check Thanos is overhyped bottom-line.He shouldn't be on Galactus's power level.
