Ok, so we all get that this is bad for the brakes. My only curiosity is why you used the rear brake... 95% of the time, it is best to use only the front brake (plus, you can stop ~twice as quickly)

But that's just my thinking. Carry on.

@TheSupatrader The discs on vehicles are much better and resistant to warping because of many factors like the grade of the metal, heat resistance etc... of course these discs dont warp and bike disc brakes do because of the lower grade of everything like the metal and brake pads.

mountain bikes need thicker rotors. i dont care about the weight of thicker rotors. thicker rotors would last longer and as it is puny rotors just warp too easily.

i totally agree with you, not only would thicker rotors last longer in terms of lifespan, they would provide stronger and more consistent braking, as since there is more metal, it will take more energy to heat them up, so you can go faster and heat your brakes up less, and since hot brakes dont work as well then it would be good, i sometimes overheat my hydraulics on long decents, trust me, they are so much hotter than those at the end of a 600 meter descent and stopping from about 45mph
