i am planning to visit Australia the next year , i would like to know where this track its located so i can try it . in america most tracks basically race 2 short course classes , the first one its the 2WD SPEC class that allowed any short course tire/rims and any mod on the truck but you can only used a 17.5 motor , the other class its the short course UNLIMITED were you can run any 2WD or 4WD truck with any mod & motor sized . do you guy's in Australia got similar classes there ? ...
The track is located in the suburb of knoxville or scoresby is the next subburb across, we are still trying to get the numbers up for mare than one class.
i dont know what i should get i like the sc10 because it handles good, fast good racing truck and it has realistic body but i like the slash because it's durable, fast and a basher.
i want to be able to race, go in sand, bash, go jump and go up huge hills
If you are going to be rough with it, then the slash is more durable and cheaper to fix. but saying that they both have pluses and minuses, sc 10 is a little more fragile than the slash in arms, but the stock shocks on the slash can give issues. I hope this helps!!
@stefan3d5 For what you're looking for, the Slash would suffice. You can't go wrong with a sc10 either, though. What most people don't understand is how much lighter the sc10 is compared to the slash. Sure the parts are smaller, but they're under much less load. I've bashed my sc10 just as much as my friends bash their Slashes.
I think which truck is better depends on the track. At our local track a few of the guys have bought SC10's and none of them are really that impressive (given the associated hype). On the other hand, a mate bought a Slash and it goes around the track like it is on rails. I have just put in an order for my own Slah and look forward to lots of fun with it.
ive raced both and the sc10 is laps better(sc 10=13.6 best..... slash = 11.5)ive bin racing for over 20 years so im not a nooob,,,, the slash is way stronger but the sc10 is a better racing truck.dont e mail me just post a comment(ill delete without reading any email)
I know what you mean, i just bought this truck off its original owner, and have put a mamba 4600 into it as i know the truck can handle it. The slash is staying with the 17.5 brushless for even racing.
Right now, my SC10 is brushless and my slash is not, so the SC10 is great, but my slash has a few other mods. I think I'll race my SC10 because its real hard to roll, n if I had to choose it would probably be the SC10 (even though I've never put the brushless in my slash) for the sole reason that it does not want to roll over. I have to re-tune the slash for every terrain to keep it from rolling. In races though, these trucks come down to the driver, either is really fun@!
the slash is a good truck,,,the sc10 is a better race truck,,,,, driver is a big variable .....looks like they were having fun....im gonna go and race my jrxt 5 link rear xxt front end glued together stadium truck with a hornet body
This video is bullshit. The SC10 bad driving is staged so everyone will think that the Slashes are competitive. You suck balls for this bullshit upload.
i dont think he is trying to make slashes look better. and clam down man its not that big of a deadl if he is cutting corners and stuff. they are just having fun out there...
He had a speed passion sport tuned brushless motor and lipo i believe. my slash had 17.5 brushless and lipo, 1 had 27t brushed and nimh batteries, not sure what the other slash had.
I think the guy was probably getting used to how it handles...I was like that with my Slash...after some practice i got alot better. Honestly...both trucks have their plusses...driver could have been better.

hmm Im glad to see finaly more SC trucks are being made. I have to go with the SC10. It's build for racing, it is a racing chassis. From the RC10T4.

Dude sucks, he probably just upgraded from a 9.6 turbo hopper.

The driver had never driven a CORR truck before, I think the handling difference of his other cars just caught him out a lot.
