I believe the Nvidia graficchip got to hot in the past, so its faulty now, i have a Vaio SZ7 and i have changed the whole thermal grease from the notebook (cpu, Nvidiachip and Intelchip) to Arctic MX2 not an easy job. Cleaning the fan every 3months is very important too.
