@JoshHalliday1995 Are you sure that the display is working on that channel. (By this I mean that when you change the PS3 display settings, it will only show on that channel for a few seconds before it changes back to the previous display settings)

@xFLiPZzLeAdeR If you mean that the TV has NO lag between the console and the TV. But the laptop is a couple of seconds behind, then this is correct. The laptop software does lag behind the TV as shown in part 2 of the setup video

@oToNiiCzHD If by "normal" you mean a cable which ONLY has Red, White and Yellow then no as this is a composite cable and will only transmit SD. You need a component cable (Red, White, Green, Blue and Red) to record in HD.

@joarerher That is a cable which can be both a composite and component cable. Still follow the tutorial but you will not have the yellow wire plugged into anything.

@xDiZzYClan PS3 component cable go into the HDPVR. Double ended component cable go from the HDPVR to the component inputs on the TV.

@Zishan197 If this is your main reason for using the HDPVR I would suggest getting a dazzle as it was made for this and is alot cheaper.

Otherwise, yes you can so long as the video player uses composite or component inputs

@Zishan197 For Xbox, I suggest you watch my other HDPVR setup video for the 360.

For VHS with a composite output: You will need a composite cable which is plugged into the front of the HDPVR, this should then show up on the Total media software for you to record.

For component VHS: Simply use the component cable provided with the HDPVR to connect the VHS to the HDPVR (Insert the cable into the BOTTOM row) this will also show up on the software
