Nice job. APP was for some strange reason( I mustve been a bit odd - still am I guess) the ONLY album ofJT I bought back then. Mustve been 15? Still love it. Like Milton's Paradise lost! Thank you!
Again. This is soooo rare because it was the beginning of the Warchild tour... but the Warchild Lp had'nt even been released yet (even though the band played a lot of the Warchild album in the shows). The reason so much of Passion Play was played was because Tull didn't tour Australia and Japan in 1973. The Passion Play tour was cut short because Ian was so disgusted with the critical hammering the album got. So he used these July and August 1974 shows to play APP for these audiences.
The return of Tull, and better than ever. Hopefully we will have the 8mm footage someday. This was around the time that they were working on the Warchild film. Too bad that never developed. I will upload some audio interviews about that soon.
funking awesome

I know they didn't play stuff like Bungle/sealion/warchild until the very end of the year (1974).
On the Australian and Japan concerts they played skating away and queen and country, I think that was it off Warchild.
Like I said before, I have a 1974 show from Copengaggen that has an Awsome Sealion/Bunle in the jungle medly that I'm going to upload.
Thanksso much for watching, Paul! Nick

Yeah, I have the whole concert.
I also have a 1974 concert from later in the year that has an awsome SeaLion/Bungle in the Jungle Medly.
Other than that, I have like 9 more 74/75 concerts.
I might upload some of that too. Nick
