How has this guy managed to fly so far under the radar while being so talented? I'm really surprised that in the last few years he hasn't gotten more of a look from bigger feds. He seems like a natural for Dragon Gate or DGUSA. Maybe even ROH. Maybe he just doesn't want to be pinned down and maintain his independence?

@plenchful hurt himself when he did a backflip off a ring post in 09 i think. he is ok to wrestle now but i think that there's somethings going on in his personal life and he also uses marijuana which is a big no-no in japenese wrestling feds.

@RoSs3897 Jeez, that sucks. It's really sad to see what happens to so many of these high flyers. When I look at PAC and the insane amount of muscle he's put on in the past couple years, I cringe and think about the Bulldogs. I hope I'm wrong, but it sure does seem that the flyers take too many risks these days, both inside and outside of the ring. Thanks for the info, mate!

WWE Takuya Sugi is now the Soaring Eagle Gimmick on Smackdown. During the Smackdown New Years Special it show chavo standing next to the Soaring Eagle during a New years Party Clip showing that the Soaring Eagle is not Chavo. Soaring Eagle was in the wheel barrel during a event on NXT event showing how easy it was to push him. You will see once the Soaring Eagle gets his first match. WWE dressed him like this for now because hes still under Contract with AAA/Noah or something

the thing that's amazing about him is how crisp he is... other flyers you can compare him are really sloppy and botch often, sugi is always very clean with hsi execution

Not at all, no. It would seem like there's a fair amount of moves that have only been used once, and some of them have some odd names(or names fabricated by some).

AAA is lucky to have him, but they need to stop putting him in tag matches. they also need to stop cutting to the crowd during moves. in fact, they should cut their show down to like three matches. but back to sugi, the only thing that would make guys like him and jack evans better is to also pull out strong style power moves like hayabusa used to.

Super Dragon's get up looks like a giant childs Halloween costume, I can see why Sugi dresses the way he does but Super Dragon looks like a fool in any city in the world.
