  • Just wondering, I have seen a lot of people use dumbbell bowflex for 90x, do they change weights in p90x. I only have normal dumbbell set,the bowlfex is too expensive for me

  • @ifoxrider yeah, you will need different weights though. depending how strong you are and how much bigger you're trying to get.

  • @ZIDBULA you just restart the program, that's what we call a round (1 round = 90 days), you may do like 4 rounds on a row without modifying, as long as you do YOUR TOP EFFORT, and improving your body, the only problem is that you may get "bored" of doing the same rounds, so you need to spice it up with other workouts that beachbody offers, but i can tell you, after getting results and see what you accomplish you will say "Bored?, heck no!!!"

  • definitely takes longer than 90 days to lose this much fat. Its not even healthy to lose more than 2 pounds a week, long run your just gonna flab out. Hit the gym and slowly work at it, way more worth the money.

  • @Whisper4444 Most people who got AMAZING results were already in great shape when they were younger. And that will give you faster results. Clean Diet, Circuit training and dedication will do that. I did P90X and got awesome results...Its been two years and I'm not "flabby"

  • @Whisper4444 if u follow the nutrition guide and don't slip from it and get fast food or pop, and do the workouts everyday, u will drop the pounds with a snap of a finger. how is it not healthy to workout everyday and eat clean and healthy? they just have to make sure to eat the right amount of calories for energy.

  • @Whisper4444 first of all.. a lot of these people did multiple rounds of the program.. and get similar rates everytime.second it's not just about losing fat. You could out on muscle and lose fat and still be around the same weight. third, I'm pretty sure the gym is more money over the long terms, so if you stick with this you're going to save money

  • I HATE THESE KIND OF VIDEOS!!I have ripped body,and I never met anyone who has better body than me.I have never used anything,but I workout hard for 2 years EVERY DAY!!And I know how much pain and how strong you have to be to have body of your life.I whats annoys me in these videos is that they say you can transorfm in 90 to be in PERFECT SHAPE.ITS A STUPIDITY,you can become slim,fit or something like that but to become tyson beckford from monster pig it cant be done.Sorry for grammar mistakes

  • @PhinneyFitness Ive done it twice.And it is pretty good,but I already had pretty ripped body before that program.All Im saying is that you can be ripped without this program,far better than this program.I usually run 10 km per day,its about 7 miles,and I go to gym for 2 hours every day,and every second I do cardio also.With that excersise you can have body faaaaar better than with p90x

  • @lodhol Not many people have the time to run like that AND workout 2 hours a day on top of that. Sure, you can spend 3+ hours a day, but not everyone has the ability to do that. Not to mention the cost of a gym membership. P90X is not the only way, but it is a great way for people that do not have hours upon hours a day. Not to mention there is also P90X Plus, P90X One on One and the brand new P90X2, so once you feel you have advanced enough, you can go to a more advanced program.

  • Don't let what you see in this video stop you from achieving your goals. If you are overweight (obese) and want to get healthy and toned, this program will do it for you. If you are skinny and want to get ripped, it will happen. It just depends on YOU and how much heart you put into it. If you want something bad enough, you'll make it happen. It happened for me, my before and after pictures are at the 1:34 mark.

  • man this discourages me a lot. all i see is fat people getting thin i don't see any thin people getting big. im 18 5'7 and weight about 120lbs i actually have a pretty good body for my weight since i train kickboxing/muay thai but i wanna do p90x to get bigger and i just see people losing weight. should i even do p90x will i get thinner if i do p90x or can i get bigger which is my goal. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

  • @cameronhallYT Do a different rotation with other sports and/or the P90X, P90X+, or One on One workouts. I'm in week 10 though and I think that on day 91, I'm going to sleep in & start again on day 92. P90X is just a way to build much greater strength, flexibility and stamina.

  • Everybody excuse is time and that males sense, but my excuse or actually more like reason for not working out is diet because I'm a teenager and I have to eat what my family makes me and they don't really make the best choices. I have the p90x workout dvd's but I always think that it'll be a waste of time to use them if I don't diet well :( any advice guys?

  • @louisdiaz316 1) ask your parents to cook you seperate food. 2) learn to cook. 3) exercising without ptroper diet is still better then nothing. 4) eat more fruit or veg as snack and less at dinner

  • P90X works. Plain and simple.

    I am 38 years old and never worked out so I had to take aleast a month to be able to do the full workouts (1 hour long) but after that I really began to see the difference and people began to compliment about the changes. Half way into the second round and man I wish I started sooner.

  • i have p90x i used it for a month every day... but i never saw results. I'm 14 and i'm almost a workaholic... i run, lift weights... I still do 'plyometrics', 'ab ripperX', 'shoulders and back' and 'legs and back'.....

    I've heard some people say that you REALLY need to follow the nutrition guide.. i usually eat breakfast and lunch according to the guide but eat a normal dinner.

  • @mycahman You need a set of dumbells (or resistance bands is what I use) and a pull up bar. Having resistance bands allows you to use less space in your house and continue to add on weight as you get stronger. If you can afford the cost and space of dumbells, go with that.

  • p90x is tough. also alot of the cardio they hav is also incorporated into the insanity workout. if u guys have bulked up and just need to get toned and ripped, i say u do the insanity workout, because that work out is hell. i haven't done any of these. cardio and healthy lifestyle, thats all u need. ur basically paying them 100s of dollars for them to babysit u into getting ur heart rate to a fat-burning level. this is utube. there are millions of workout videos.

  • @65impact uhhhh no, you can do all these exercises at home using your own body weight without spending money. You can get plenty of cardiovascular exercise as well...without spending money. You don't need to go to a gym.

  • I did P90X. I lost 15lbs and now my resting heart rate is 50bpm. Plus I have ABS!!! Its tough but awesome!

Everyone has a different start and finish point.. Once you start and get accustomed, you wouldn't want to stop even after 90 days. Fitness isn't about the before and after picture, its about feeling good and being healthy.

  • @johnyzero2000 I saw a few really big people who put their results on youtube and you're right it did take 90 days but after about 3 rounds of they had a 6 pack. And the 90 day mark was still amazing.

  • @johnyzero2000 Lots of people do several 90 day rounds. The idea isn't to make all the changes you want to make in 90 days but to see and feel a big difference in that time and to keep getting stronger and healthier.

  • @johnyzero2000 Very true. I'm 5'8 or 5'9, and 242 lbs. I will NOT have abs after 90 days, but I believe 2-2.5 rounds will do the trick.
