@heyitslaurenn420 and yet she handles him beautifully. this is eq, based on the rider not her fidgety horse. he may not show off her riding as well as some horses could but she shows him off pretty nicely i will say.
those judges have their work cut out for them! so many incredible riders, and i'm sure there were a lot who earned their way there. i have no idea how they can just choose a winner..but then again, that's why I'm not a judge haha=) that was a fabulous round!
That was a great ride, It's nice to see someone else who rides Eq that doesn't have the false locked down heel. Cute horse and great decisions in the ring =]
Her leg got a tad bit loose only because she came in a bit too strong to the in n out and she had to shorten the horse's stride which shook her a bit. Other than that her leg was quite and still
probably but other people who needs a NEW horse, not a first timer maybe needs this wonderful horse. likewise when i was thirteen, ive already been riding for five years, yet i dont get a fancy horse like this. this horse would be more suitable for people that are not spoiled 13 years old that needs a fancy horse for her first time.
ok look the ppl that would bey that horses r most likely going to be 18 or younger b/c of the past that horse has if he had an older rider show him an older rider would bey him but b/c he was showing in USEf someone would most likely bey him to do USEF. ppl won't horses that did well in the area that they are looking to win in that way they have a good chains at wining
I don't mean to butt in on the conversation, but sometimes if you grow into a horse than that horse will pick up bad habits from you, which makes an amazing horse not so amazing. that's just what I have observed...
if u want 2 win in the big eq ring u need a good horse, as long as ur under 18, it doesn't matter ur age! u just have 2 have the time & effort put in2 ur skills as a rider. an amazin horse wopuld just make that time go faster. i know people that take out loans 2 b able 2 afford a horse like this that r teh nicest people ever & r not spoiled at all! they work 4 everything! so don't assume she's that way!
six years is a long time and if you have the proper training you could be amazing! it looks to me like it is a junior rider in the picture and just because you are older does not mean you have been riding longer and not necessarily need a horse more
i hate spoiled little kids with their own fancy horses too... i hate going to the barn and seeing these little kids with their awesome horses when i dont have my own! but i have to admit some of them are really good... and with their own horse they're doing even better
@edwardcullenisgod exactly!!!! so a 13 yr old kid with this horse... can you imagine when they beat you at a show, with your horse who isnt a thoroughbred, quarter horse,, or warmblood. and pureblood... its annoying because judges tend to look at the breed. my horse is a bashkir curly so i dont win often, so im switching to eventing :(
i'm an eventer and i absolutely love it! i ride two horses: one is a 16 hand bay tb gelding who i absolutely love, i've been working with him for 2 years and we won the w/t/c division at our barn this season (he's 19 and no longer jumps) and i'm going to start eventing with a 20 yr old 15.2 hand bay hanovarian/tb mare who is amazing... its really hard not having my own horse but im trying to do the best i can with my situation... good luck eventing!
@edwardcullenisgod nice!!! but in a way, leasing is the champs because you can switch horses, try out different horses, and etc. what level do you ride in an event?
im just starting with a new mare in the spring... my trainer and i are going to be schooling soon to see what she can do... then we'll decide! what level are you going to be doing?
@edwardcullenisgod these "little kids", who are usual around the ages of 17-18, work quite hard for what they have accomplished. They don't just hop on their "magical horse" and do well. Don't judge unless you know.
@heyitslaurenn420 actually if you paid attention you would see that i was replying to someone else who was talking about a 7 or 8 year old. and yeah i ride competitively so i do know that a lot of people (even younger than 17-18 starting at 15) dont get on "magical horses" and do well, if that were the case then i wouldnt have to go through half the crap i go through with my horse everyday, so yeah, i do know and i wasnt judging
..no you need to eat alot and keep excersising. No food, No glory. trust me i used to be annorexic, and i was too tired to do anything. I eat like a pig now but i excersise, thus im now a much better rider . just sayin. :)
also if you stop eating your body goes into 'starvation mode' and your metabolism increases to preserve weight so when you do start eating again or if you binge you really pack on the pounds.
I just stumbled upon this video. My trainer's daughter used to own Riant. Her last season showing him was in 2006, I believe. It's so cool to see him again!
Hi it's megan, you have a good horse, hes so cute, how much are you asking for him because i'm looking for a horse. So if you could contact me back on my channel mabey thanks, Megan
