Jay Z`s voice is a big reason he became successful with his music. It`s so unique. Like no other. It`s so raw and raspy, but it isn`t that deep. It`s a cool dynamic. Plus he`s got the Brooklyn dialect on top of it all. He was born to win.
Although Warren Buffet calls it luck, he is speaking directly to what Malcolm Gladwell writes about in Outliers. And I think if we could probe Jay even further, we'd find that his success is more attributed to the outlier concept than sheer luck. This is a great interview. Thanks for posting.
