  • The water movement did not look as good as I wanted.

  • cool, real clear

  • good clip but next time lock exposure

  • I never thought i would learn sooo much about canadian gooses in just 1:25, this camara is the sh/t!!

  • Very impressive quality of the video.

  • @KEBokeh Yes, camera and lens was mounted on a tripod. I don't think it would be possible to handhold 300mm 2.8 with teleconvertor even if it was equiped with VR and shoot video clips.

  • @2pistolcorky ... Really? 300mm F2.8? That must have cost you a fortune and you only have the D300s? You could afford a D3 instead!

  • @aronmustang69 The lens is often more imprtant than the camera body.

  • LOL 0:44

  • Sweet vid, I only have a D70s and a D80, I wish I had a D300s!

  • @moonwalker5058 Do what I do constantly, sell your gear, buy new gear.

  • @vitorcui We have a photography company and we are always wanting new equipment so we plan to sell our D70s to buy a D90. A D300s has also been rumored around for.

  • @moonwalker5058 Oh didnt know you used company gear. well hope you get your hands on a D300s soon :) its a beast

  • @vitorcui I hear it is, plus it's got amazing video quality. I hope to get it soon as well!:)

  • Very good job on this. I just got a D300s and love it. It does need better manual controls.

  • Great video

  • amazing lens,,, and hd quality

  • Mmm, moving bokeh rings (: awesome video!

  • Mmm, moving exposure (:

  • Really nice!

  • Did you shoot this in an auto-exposure mode? It seems like the exposure is hunting around a little as other geese move in and out of the frame in the background. Beautiful clip, though!

  • I'm not 100% sure but I believe this clip was taken in manual exposure mode.

  • I found that even when shooting in manual, the only way to lock the exposure and keeping it from "hunting" is to actually hold down the AE lock button.

  • @pinkgeo1875 There's a menu option that allows you to toggle AE-Lock on/off with video, so that you don't have to keep it held down the whole time you're filming. :)

I don't remember exactly which option it is off-hand though.

  • Gorgeous

  • Awesome quality, I didn't expect this video quality from the d300s, also the 300mm 2.8 did her job.

    Nice video, thanks for sharing.
